Lovely hotel, nice staff and good location
Staff. Position Superb we have been here before under the previous guise and its really friendly. We know some of the staff from previous visits. Always a nice place to come to.
The room was very comfortable and the furnishings were more homely rather than sterile hotel room look.
Reception was helpful and friendly. The hotel is very stylish with lots of nice touches such as a "treasure box" in the room with little treats inside.

From the cliff edge you can enjoy uninterrupted sea views, with the coastline unfolding beyond the terrace and some rooms that promise a direct line of sight to the water. The building sits within an area known for natural beauty and easy access to the beach, making it an ideal spot for walkers, nature lovers and sun seekers. Inside the hotel you will find a warm and welcoming atmosphere consistent with a traditional inn, paired with practical touches that holidaymakers value. The property operates with a four star rating and a sense of timeless coastal charm, while still providing modern comforts. The on site restaurant and lounge bring guests together for meals and drinks, and there are spaces designed for socialising as well as quiet corners where you can unwind with a book or a view. Rooms at the White Horse Hotel are designed with comfort in mind and many offer remarkable sea views. You can expect beds that look inviting in the photos, with seating areas nearby and, in several rooms, a balcony or terrace that frames the coastline. Some rooms clearly include convenient amenities such as air conditioning, coffee and tea facilities, and wardrobe storage. Bathrooms show a mix of showers and baths, and many images reveal the presence of towels and well presented bathroom fittings. The overall feel is one of bright, restful interiors that make it easy to unwind after a day by the sea. Food and drink are a cornerstone of the White Horse experience. The on site restaurant and lounge bar offer a choice of meals and beverages in a setting with sea views and seating that encourages lingering over courses. The menu is supported by references to food and drinks, with images that hint at breakfast options including continental choices, and a broad day to night dining rhythm that covers lunch and dinner. Guests can expect a varied selection of meals, with the option to enjoy drinks in the lounge or at the dining area while taking in the sea breeze. For families and guests travelling with children, the hotel presents a welcoming policy and practical family friendly features. All ages are welcome, and the property provides clear guidance on cots and extra beds. The presence of family friendly spaces is reinforced by photos that show seating areas and bedrooms designed to accommodate groups, without compromising comfort. Wellness and relaxation come naturally from the coastal setting. The White Horse Hotel offers a lounge and bar space where guests can unwind with a drink and enjoy the company of friends or family. The property also features communal lounge areas and meeting spaces, which can be used for informal gatherings or small events.
