History, sea views and mountain scenery in a single day: this Antalya old town cable car tour takes you through Kaleiçi, to the Düden and Karpuzkaldıran waterfalls and out on a one-hour boat trip, and with the cable car option it ends high above the coast.

What is on the programme

With a professional licensed guide you walk through Kaleiçi past Ottoman mansions, Roman remains and small bazaars. Next come the waterfalls: Düden, where the water tumbles into the sea, and Karpuzkaldıran. A one-hour boat trip shows the city and its cliffs from the water. Choose the cable car option and you ride the Olympos (Tahtalı) cable car to 2,365 metres above sea level for sweeping views of the coastline, forests and the Taurus Mountains; the cable car fee is included with that option.

Who it suits

Suitable for all fitness levels. Pushchairs and prams are fine and infants sit on an adult's lap; it is not wheelchair accessible. The lead traveller must be 18 or over and children must be accompanied by an adult.

Practical details

Lunch and hotel pickup and drop-off are included; drinks and personal spending are not. Pickup times depend on your hotel's location and are sent to you before the tour. If you are staying in Kaleiçi, the meeting point is outside McDonald's Kaleiçi.
