Europe and Asia Full Day Tour of Istanbul with Lunch and a Bosphorus Cruise

Most daily city tours focus on one side of the city; this Europe and Asia full day tour takes you across both continents of Istanbul in one day with a professional guide. Transport, admissions and lunch are included in a complete programme.

Starting on the Asian side

You are picked up from your hotel or meeting point in the morning and begin on the Asian side. The first stop is Çamlıca Hill and Çamlıca Mosque, with one of the widest views over the city. Next you visit the elegant Beylerbeyi Palace on the shore of the Bosphorus.

The European side

After crossing the Bosphorus Bridge to Europe, you stop for lunch. In the afternoon you visit Eyüp Sultan Mosque, one of Istanbul's most important places of pilgrimage, then head up Pierre Loti Hill for its famous view over the Golden Horn.

Ending with a Bosphorus cruise

The day ends with a two-hour boat trip on the Bosphorus, seeing from the water the places you passed by road in the morning. Afterwards you are dropped back at your hotel.

Pickup times and areas

Pickup is from hotels in Aksaray, Laleli, Sultanahmet, Eminönü, Sirkeci, Karaköy, Kabataş, Şişhane and Taksim, between 07:45 and 08:30. The exact time is sent the day before, between 14:00 and 18:00. Guests in hotels on pedestrianised or narrow streets are directed to the nearest main road. The tour is not wheelchair accessible. It is a long day, so wear comfortable shoes and bring a scarf for the mosques.
