Sunset Yacht Cruise with Local Guide on the Bosphorus

There is no better place to end the day than on the water as the sun sets over Istanbul. This sunset yacht cruise with local guide sails along the European and Asian shores of the Bosphorus past Ottoman palaces, fortresses and landmarks, while your guide brings the city's story to life.

On board

A freshly prepared fruit plate, cookies and traditional baklava are served during the cruise, along with drinks such as lemonade, water, tea or coffee. Your professional English-speaking local guide explains the history of the sights you pass. There is a restroom on board; alcoholic drinks are not included.

Swimming option

As a separate option, you can join a 6-hour group yacht trip to the Princes' Islands without a guide (10:00–16:00), with free time to swim and relax. Sandwiches and soft drinks are served on board. Bring your swimwear, towel, sunscreen and sunglasses; this option is not suitable for guests who cannot swim.

Who is it for?

It is ideal for couples looking for a romantic evening, photographers and anyone wanting to see Istanbul from the water at a relaxed pace. It is not recommended for travellers with poor cardiovascular health, seasickness or vertigo.

Practical tips

It cools down on the water around sunset, so bring a light layer. Hotel pickup is not included; the meeting point is close to public transport. Infants sit on an adult's lap. Sunset times change through the year, so check the departure time for your date.
