Two-Hour ATV Tour through the Göreme Valleys

If you want to take in Cappadocia's extraordinary landscape and enjoy a bit of adrenaline at the same time, this two-hour ATV tour is for you. Starting from Göreme, you ride a quad bike along the region's varied trails with your guide leading the way.

The route

For two hours you ride past fields of soaring fairy chimneys and caves carved into the rock. Rose Valley and Red Valley, the tall chimneys of Love Valley and the village of Çavuşin, with its old rock-cut houses, are the most impressive stops along the way. Your guide stops at the viewpoints so you can take photos and enjoy the scenery.

Riding conditions

Every driver must hold a valid driving licence. ATV, helmet and mask rental are included. There are no discounted or child tickets on this tour: all participants buy the same ticket. Participants are liable for any damage costs arising from accidents during the tour, so it is important to follow your guide's instructions and adjust your speed to the trail.

Who is it for?

The tour is ideal for travellers who want to see a lot in a short time and experience Cappadocia in a different way. Riders who have never driven an ATV before get used to it quickly after the briefing at the start.

Practical tips

The trails are dusty, so wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty, closed shoes and sunglasses. In summer, choose a morning or late-afternoon slot to avoid the midday heat. After the ride you can relax in one of Göreme's cafés and later watch the sunset from a viewpoint near Love Valley.
