The accommodation and staff throughout our stay were extremely welcoming, helpful and lovely people (Family) whereby, they were always prepared to go the extra mile and nothing was too much ask. Our room was luxurious; cleaned to a very high standard along with the fittings, fixtures and additional soft furnishings. The bed was very comfortable and we slept extremely well. The variety and choices for breakfast were the best we had ever experienced of any of our previous guest house stay and of many 3* and 4* hotels - can't rate this enough and would recommend it to anyone who wants to feel very welcome and well looked after for such a reasonable price (more like a 5* accommodation!

Very friendly and accomodating hosts. Will definetely stay again. Very close to the lovely seafront at Portebello, a 5 minute walk from the guest house. Just 7 stops on the local bus to Edinburgh Central train station. The bus stop is right outside the guest house and journey takes 10 minutes to Edinburgh Central. Busses run every 20 minutes through the night.

Amazing guest house. Nothing too much trouble and made to feel welcome. Rooms are beautiful, spotless and comfortable. Continental breakfast was very much appreciated. One of the best places I have ever stayed and will definitely return.

Very close to bus transport and the lodge was so very clean and nice decor. The little touches are superb! Both mom and daughter are a great treat and just nice to talk too.

Theresa and her daughter are excellent hosts and were very welcoming. The accommodation is 5 star and very luxurious. The breakfast was excellent and delicious. I could not recommend this hotel enough and thank you for your hospitality.

The owners are extremely helpful and are very kind, the location of the Guest house is perfectly situated between down town Edinburgh (20 minutes by bus) and the beach (20 minutes to walk).

Given that I needed to book a room quickly and did not expect hotels to be free during the Edinburgh Fringe festival, I was positively surprised and happy that a great hotel was available at short notice. The hotel owner/ manager lady was very welcoming and informative about the local area and transport links. My room was clean and decorated nicely as well as the bathroom facilities. The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed having deep sleeps after long days exploring the beaches and sight-seeing.

We loved the interior of the house (modern victorian style). Hosts were absolutely lovely, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nice to see family business suport and all. Despite that rhe latest check out is normally by 8pm, The host waited for us until very late 23:00 much appreciated. Very clean and the house smelled very clean fresh with nice scent, lovely. We are delighted by the stay at Aaron apartments. Warm regards to our lovely and friendly hosts Theresa and her daughter. Daniel & Eva from Poland 🙂
