The bathroom was functional and practical. With renovations that looked well done in comparison to other hotels we have stayed at during the trip. The room was clean and the avaliable fan was able to move a lot of air throughout the room making it very cool despite the windows not being open. The bed was a little firmer which I liked. The location was quiet and in a nice neighborhood.

Stayed 2 nights in the family room with our 11 year old. This was great as had separate bunk bed for him. Excellent location. About 15/20 min walk into to city which was perfect for us. Huge bed and clean and comfy room. Staff very informative and friendly. Lovely selection of tea coffee hot chocolate and biscuits in the room. Would defo recommend this place to anyone visiting York.

The hotel was really nice and the room was exceptional.Very nicely decorated spotlessly clean and really comfortable.tea,coffee,hot chocolate and latte with biscuits in the room and refills in the foyer should you need more also crisps drinks and chocolate on sale.We didn't have the breakfast but that was reasonably priced and The lady we met was lovely and explained everything to us,really close to the city next to the racecourse in a lovely area We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nice location travel was easy local shop were up to 15+ way, city center a cab ride works out better than paying for parking, restaurants of your choice, clothes shopping and other items available, friendly people around.
