Guest Reviews
Exactly what was needed for an overnight stay in Brighton. Good value, friendly staff and very clean.
Good location, good price, good size beds
Comfortable.
Very comfy and cosy room in a cute part of Brighton. Good base to explore for a weekend break.
The location was excellent. Very helpful staff and good value for money
The room was nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The host was also lovely.
Compact indeed. Perfect stay for a night. Free bottles of water. Nice location - near the station and the seafront.
Great location for a trip to Brighton, paid parking nearby and lots of the main sites within walking distance.
Possibily to eat in, with use of microwave, fridge and vending machines. Free coffee and tea.
The staff was very friendly. They let us leave our backpacks after checkout and pick them up before leaving. They also contacted us the next day to let us know we'd forgotten our camera and returned it to us.
Location is perfect. Sea just around corner but in a quiet side street.
We have big luggage (travelling for a while!) so requested a low floor and we got the lower level with only a few stairs :) kettle, mugs, wine glasses! We parked down the street next to the park for one night for about 12€. You can also use the park and ride (summer) at withdean leisure complex but it doesn’t make much of a difference price wise after you pay for parking and then the bus in and out of town to get back to your car. Depending how long you’re parked though!
Location was fab, comfy bed, spotlessly clean.
All good, location great! Great stuff and beats room inside! Everyone were friendly and helpful!
Handy location
everything perfect

Guests can easily reach the famous promenade, where the sea air, colourful beach huts and the constant throng of activity create a distinctive seaside mood. The surrounding neighbourhood blends coastal charm with quick access to the town centre, giving you the best of both worlds: restful base at Hudsons and dynamic city life within easy reach. Beach and practical seaside access Hudsons does not list a on site pool, which is typical for a small city boutique. Instead the property leans into its seaside advantage with direct proximity to the coast. A gentle stroll leads you onto the promenade and the beach where you can enjoy a classic Brighton experience, from sunlit mornings to sunset strolls along the water. The hotel’s location is ideal for travellers who want to combine a relaxed beach day with urban discoveries, dining and entertainment within walking distance. Rooms and comfort With nine rooms in a small scale setting, Hudsons aims to deliver a comfortable, home like feel. The visual presentation suggests a tidy, well considered decor that supports restful nights after busy days along the seafront. Some rooms appear to include living areas, and a few feature kitchen or kitchenette corners together with coffee and tea facilities. There are references to balcony or terrace options, offering a private outdoor space when weather permits. While room layouts and amenities vary, the overall impression is one of practical comfort designed for short breaks and city getaways. Guests will want to check in with reception on arrival to confirm the exact setup of their room, especially when planning for additional needs such as seating space or self catering elements. Food and beverage options The hotel does not publish confirmed on site dining facilities. Several photos show in room kitchen or kitchenette areas and coffee or tea facilities, along with living or seating spaces that support relaxed, in room refreshments. Given Brighton’s renowned dining scene, guests can explore a wide array of nearby options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For those seeking a meal within the room itself, the available in room kitchen features suggest a degree of flexibility, while the surrounding area offers a diverse range of cafes and restaurants to suit every taste and budget. Family friendliness and activities Hudsons positions itself as a family friendly option within a city setting. The property notes that all ages are welcome and that beds in rooms are limited to a maximum of four guests. There is a single extra bed allowed per room, and a nightly charge applies when an extra bed is used. The rate for an extra bed is £25 per person per night. Cots have variable availability and come with a policy stating that all cots and extra beds are subject to availability. The overall policy indicates that children can stay in existing beds and cots, with specifics varying by booking option. Given these policies, Hudsons is particularly suitable for small families or groups who value compact, easy to manage accommodations close to the beach and city conveniences. Relaxation, wellness and entertainment While Hudsons does not list dedicated wellness facilities or a spa, the setting itself offers a relaxing base to unwind after a day by the sea or exploring Brighton. Free WiFi is available across all public areas, ensuring you can stay connected for planning evening activities or sharing photos from the day. In room living spaces and comfortable beds provide a restful sanctuary after a busy day.
