Loved the small details- fresh fruit, fresh milk. Great little hotel room, reasonably priced but felt so much nicer than a chain hotel. Loved my stay.

Joanna 9.0

Very cosy and comfortable room with very little external noise. Good in room tea and coffee making facilities. The welcome drink and fruit in the room were a nice touch when travelling.

Kim 8.0

Within walking distance of the city centre, harbour side and Cabots Circus. Small period hotel with nice restaurant and bar. Parking is available in the hotel garage nearby but is chargeable. Staff were very pleasant.

Patricia 9.0

Cozy, clean room with great facilities. Service was really good too, very friendly reception and helpful. Location was brilliant.

Claire 9.0

The bathroom and bedroom were newly / superbly decorated, the whole hotel was very modern. In the centre of Bristol I expected some noise in the hotel at night, but it was silent. There is a fridge in the room and even fresh tea leaves and teapot, which is very unusual. There was a free sherry sample, a tipple to try. That was a nice touch! Fresh fruit too, plus biscuits. I had the hot vegetarian breakfast, it was very large and again, superb. Also plenty of other choices at breakfast, such as cereals, yogurts, seeds/nuts, toast etc. I liked the modern feel throughout the hotel and enjoyed the overall design and choices of decor.

Guests appreciate the calm atmosphere of the square paired with easy access to the city’s shops, cafes and cultural spots. After a day of exploring iconic streets or enjoying the open spaces of Clifton Downs, you can return to a setting that feels intimate rather than impersonal. The Berkeley Square Hotel focuses on social spaces that invite conversation and a relaxed pace. The terrace offers a pleasant outdoor area to unwind when the weather allows, while the lounge and bar provide comfortable settings for a pre dinner drink or a late night catch up. The on site restaurant serves meals in a relaxed, stylish environment and is a draw for casual lunches or a low key dinner without leaving the building. With 56 rooms arranged to make the most of the space, The Berkeley Square Hotel aims to be a welcoming base for both short city breaks and longer stays. The rooms are described as contemporary and thoughtfully designed, combining practical comfort with a calm, modern aesthetic. Bed arrangements, seating areas and in many cases a living room style feel show up in guest photos, suggesting spaces that are versatile for couples or small groups. Bathrooms are a regular feature in the visuals, with showers and baths indicating a flexible approach to guest needs. Some rooms appear to offer separate living spaces, which can be a benefit for families or travelers who want room to relax after a day of sightseeing. The hotel makes it easy to dine in, with an on site restaurant and a lounge or bar that doubles as a social hub. Expect uncomplicated meals and refined drinks in a setting that encourages lingering over a casual lunch or a relaxed dinner. Family friendliness is clearly part of the offering. The hotel welcomes children of all ages, with policies in place regarding cots and extra beds. A notable benefit for families is that one child up to and including three years old can stay free when using available cots. These details indicate a family friendly approach that remains practical for guests navigating a budget or traveling with younger children. For those traveling with little ones, the policy information helps planning and reduces guesswork when booking. Connectivity and convenience also feature in the guest experience. WiFi is available across all areas and is free of charge, helping guests stay connected for work or leisure. Private parking is offered on site for a daily fee, with reservations not possible, which can simplify logistics for guests arriving by car. The Berkeley Square Hotel is ideally suited for couples seeking a refined Bristol stay, for small families looking for comfortable rooms and practical policies, and for travelers who value location and atmosphere over large scale facilities.
