Great location. Friendly welcome.

Robert 9.0

The feedback request is a nuisance!

Hendra 8.0

Happy as Larry with this one. Location was simply on point, only a few twerks away from the places I had to be. Quiet hood just off the battle of Jericho, where some lovely cafes and restaurants are. Room was great, priddy basic, but that's what I expect of a uni accommodation. Straightforward check in and out.

John 8.0

Great staff and location. We were lucky enough to stay in an apartment once lived in by my partner's great great grandad's family in the 19th century, and there should really be a plaque to French teacher Jules Bue on the outside of the buildings which used to be nos. 1 and 2 Wellington Square in the 19th century (;

Set on Wellington Square, this four star style campus accommodation provides a calm retreat in the heart of the action, with easy access to academic buildings, museums, and the city’s lively streets. The setting combines the prestige of a university town with the relaxed atmosphere of a square surrounded by greenery and charming town houses. Guests can step outside and stroll to nearby colleges, riverside paths, and a range of cultural attractions that define Oxford as a destination for learning and leisure. The location is a real asset for travelers who value proximity to sights and a peaceful atmosphere after a day of sightseeing. Wellington Square offers a pleasant, walkable neighborhood with leafy streets and a sense of campus life that few central city stays can match. It is easy to reach the University of Oxford campuses, historic libraries, and iconic spires, yet the property maintains a quiet ambience that helps guests unwind after busy days of touring or meetings. This balance between central access and a serene square setting makes Rewley House an attractive option for those who want to be close to the action without feeling crowded. Inside, the property presents 50 rooms designed to suit campus living. The overall feel is simple and practical, with a focus on comfort and convenience that suits short breaks and longer stays alike. The rooms are styled to accommodate guests who arrive for study, conferences, or city breaks, with clean lines and thoughtful touches that make it easy to settle in. Bed quality and a calm ambiance are emphasized in the visible accommodation imagery, with photos showing well arranged sleeping areas and bathrooms that look bright and well maintained. While detailed renovation specifics aren’t disclosed, the guest experience is framed around comfortable, easy living that supports a productive or relaxing stay depending on your plans. A key part of the Rewley House experience is the flexible, workable guest space. The photos include views of bedrooms and living areas that feel welcoming, along with indications of a dining zone and social spaces. Guests may find a lounge or bar area as part of the property, offering a convenient spot to unwind without leaving the building. The dining environment appears to cater to casual meals and social moments, with a dedicated dining area visible in the media accompanying the listing. For guests planning events or meetings, there are references to banquet and function facilities that can accommodate group gatherings in a practical university setting. The on site dining and lounging options make it easy to enjoy a meal or a drink without venturing far, which adds to the convenience for travelers, academics, or students visiting the city. For food and beverage options, Rewley House presents a straightforward arrangement that suits a campus stay. A dining area on site provides the chance to start the day with a simple meal before lectures or meetings, and there are lounge spaces that offer a relaxed place to catch up with colleagues or study with a view of the square and surrounding buildings. The presence of a bar or lounge area is suggested by the photographed spaces, giving guests a place to socialize or unwind after a day of city exploring. The internal dining zone and potential function spaces are aligned with the university atmosphere, supporting both casual dining and more formal gatherings should your plans require it. When it comes to family friendliness, Rewley House operates with a clear policy framework. The property clearly sets expectations for guests with children, stating that children are not allowed and cots or extra beds are not provided. The maximum occupancy per room is two guests, and the minimum check in age is 18. These guidelines make this a strong choice for adults seeking a focused, quiet base for study, work, or a romantic city break rather than a family holiday. WiFi is available throughout the property and is free of charge, which is essential for students, professionals, and travelers who need to stay connected during their stay. Pets are not allowed, reinforcing the campus style environment and the calm, controlled setting that many visitors value for concentrated work or study. In terms of relaxation, wellness, and entertainment, Rewley House leans on its central Oxford location and college town charm rather than resort style facilities. The surrounding Wellington Square and Oxford’s historic streets provide ample opportunities to stroll, reflect, and enjoy the city’s cultural riches. Guests can take in the university life, libraries, and nearby museums, and then return to the quiet, comfortable rooms for a restful night. For those seeking a social scene or light entertainment, the property’s lounge and dining areas, suggested by the media, offer convenient spaces to gather with fellow travelers or colleagues after the day’s activities. The on site function spaces also hint at opportunities to host small events or informal gatherings in a campus setting. This hotel is ideal for travelers who value location and ease of access. It suits academics visiting Oxford, conference attendees, or couples and solo travelers who want a central, quiet base from which to explore the city. The practical room setup, free wiFi, clear check in policy, and mature, academic atmosphere make Rewley House a reliable choice for a focused stay in Oxford. If you prioritize walking access to the university, a calm square environment, and straightforward dining and social spaces on site, this property delivers a strong, dependable experience in a city famed for its history and learning.
