cozy family home, just right for what you need for a work overnight trip. very kindly appreciated Paul waiting up for me a bit as well!
The property is great, Paul keeps it very clean. The location is amazing, just outside of Oxford with a bus stop within a 3 minute walk which takes you straight to the city centre. Additionally there are lots of restaurants and pubs within walking distance.
Paul is a very friendly and helpful host. The room itself was in perfect condition. I arrived without toiletries, and Paul helped provide some. The guesthouse is a short bus ride (15 minutes) from the centre of Oxford.
Very friendly host, clean and cosy room, away from the traffic, great location to access and leave Oxford
Close to local shopping area with good restaurants/cafes. Good connections to city centre and London.
Cleanliness, location.
Very well kept and a friendly host
Paul was friendly, informative and helpful. Beautiful house. Good location
We travelled to Oxford for a conference, so we got to talk to a lot of people about where they stayed in the same area and it Iconfirmed our impression that we were clearly very lucky to have chosen Sandfield guest house! The host is incredibly kind and helpful (from carrying a heavy suitcase up the stairs to instantly solving another guest's problem in the middle of the night), and if we were traveling non-work related, we would definitely be happy to take advantage of his local knowledge and recommendations. The room was well equipped, comfortable and very cozy with treats (tea, coffee, cookies) that can be selected in advance. The advantage is also parking right in front of the house.
The host is very friendly and helpful. Their website and other e-tools work very well for communication and information.
Lovely place to stay. Great location. Paul is very friendly and accommodating. 100% recommend.
Fresh old world country charm. Lovely clean everything looked new. Parking available a must for Oxford.
Paul is a fantastic host, had direct contact from initial booking. He sends a short questionnaire so that items are tailored to your stay (drinks tray, toiletries etc). I was staying on my own and visiting my husband in John Radcliffe (a five minute walk away, after parking up at Sandfields). He was very kind and made me feel very comfortable. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Wifi excellent. And the bed, slept like a baby! Will be returning, with husband, for a more pleasurable stay and taking in the sights of Oxford. Thank you Paul
Paul was very friendly and more than happy to help! Location was perfect for the Oxford Centre for Enablement.
Excellent stay, hospitable host, great location- will stay again!
Paul was wonderful and couldn't ask for a better host, the room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The bathroom was also clean and tidy. Would definitely use this guest house again.
