Built by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world and still a favourite royal residence. With these Windsor Castle tickets you explore this 13-acre home and see why royals have lived here for centuries.

The State Apartments

Regularly used for ceremonial and official occasions, the State Apartments are the heart of the working palace. They are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection; look out for paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens and Leonardo da Vinci. In winter the richly decorated Semi-State Rooms are added to the route.

Queen Mary's Dolls' House

Built for Queen Mary by the architect Sir Edwin Lutyens in the 1920s, the Dolls' House is a perfect miniature of an aristocratic home, complete with working lights, running water and a tiny garden; its library even holds original works by famous writers of the day. The imposing Gothic St George's Chapel is also among the castle's highlights.
