Beautiful, large, immaculate room with comfortable king size bed. Bathroom looked newly remodeled, and was very functional and well maintained. Close to transportation. Bus stop was on the same block as inn. 15 minutes to town on the bus. Owner was very nice. Would highly recommend the Alba House if you are ok with using the bus system to get to and from the downtown area of Edinburgh.

The hostess was amazing - very bubbly, helpful and informative- giving travel options and recommendations where asked. The room we were in was so tall and it was lovely and cosy. I appreciate the fact there was a small desk fan in the room also :) Great location!

The location was ideal for accessing the main city core (Royal Mile) by short bus ride yet convenient enough for leaving the City by car. The host was very nice, personable and a great help for instructing us on how to use the local bus system to get through the City.
