Guest Reviews
They room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. A good place to rest when you are out and about town and only in to sleep and start over again. The owners were great - very hospitable, welcoming, and kind. The location was great. They are right in front of a bus stop and more 5-8 minutes walk away. They are also close to a variety of restaurants, gas stations, and convenience stores. They are pretty close to the city centre too.
Perfect location l! Easy walk into old town and lots of cafes, eateries along the way. Great local pubs too. Public transport which was very regular just right in front of the guesthouse. Loved the tea coffee and biscuits provided daily as was the room cleaned and clean towelling etc daily. Our host was very accommodating when our late night flight was delayed. Highly recommend!
Very close to Edinburgh Castle and Royal Mile. Close to restaurants and shops. Close to public transport and car parking available
They were really nice and arranging with us. Super helpful to know where to go and what to see in Edinburgh. The house is easy to access with a lot of bus stop around and even by walk we were in the city center in 30min.
Friendly host very helpfull they told us how to get around and some things to tour
Clean and in a great location , we walked in to Edinburgh town each day about 20 minutes walk but there is a bus just around the corner takes you into town for about £2 each
The hotel is well located, although not in the city center. We walked almost every day, but we like to walk. We walked about 15 kilometers each day. However, we used local transportation twice, which is also very good. There's a bus stop in front, and more buses pass on the street behind. We had breakfast nearby at the Kiva restaurant, which was very good. But before going, we had coffee and cookies, which were delivered to our room every day. Our towels were changed daily. The bed was very good, the room clean. In short, I recommend this place.
Really comfy and quiet
It was really easy to access all the tourists spots by bus. The room was very charming and clean and an overall great place to stay. The gentleman managing the property was extremely kind, helpful, and generous. He helped us carry our bags up the stairs, explained how the busses worked, and gave us new towels every day. One morning when we were heading out for the day, it was raining and we had no umbrella. The manager noticed and gave us one of his own to use for the day. Really nice guy and a great property.
The hosts, Ali and Amina, were very kind and supportive. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and comfortable. The room was lovely and cosy. We had a spectacular view with Arthur's seat from our window. All amenities that I required during the stay were available. I would not hesitate to book a room again with these lovely people upon another visit.
Good location, big rooms with character.
The city is a bus ride away though the Uber there is basically the same price if you're in a grp of 3 or more. No issues with the shower, cleanliness, lots of space in the family room (he said he gave us the larger room) if ventilation is an issue just open the windows and it'll be fine. There's also some convenience stores about 10min walk away tops, neighbourhood is good too
Convenient location, relatively close to the center. We got a parking space right at the entrance, thank you. Very nice and helpful owner. Spacious triple room, comfortable beds.
The location was fantastic and hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Great that we were able to park our vehicle at the property.
Location. Near bus route into Edinburgh. Parking availability. Helpful, friendly owner.
nice location and comfortable apartment, with parking out front
The owners of the property are super friendly. The location is cool, we could manage to walk from city center to property easily.
A charming accommodation in a great neighbourhood. Very welcoming staff, always ready to help. Most comfortable beds. Good connection to city center by bus.
Comfortable, clean friendly environment.
