Bedroom was lovely styled and very comfortable (the mattress was superb), bathroom very nice and new. The hotel was in a great location very easy in between town centre and train station and has a lovely garden with fairy lights. Shoutout to Ian at reception for his great tips and lovely chat!
Every thing was very nice , posh , staff are very warm welcoming and polite
Charming location, nicely central with parking. A lovely hotel with great accommodation and very lovely professional staff, who seemed to get on nicely as a team. Spotless and attractive room (even the cheaper end double) with great facilities, lovely products, comfy bed, great bedding and fabulous shower (and a very powerful hairdryer!). Shame to have to leave so early.
Perfect location, parking onsite (although it was £18), nice room decor, great staff,
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel is excellent. A short walk took us to the Minster and the heart of the city. The restaurant was incredible and we had several meals there. A very good breakfast as well. The hotel was very clean and well maintained.
Perfect location, only a 5 minute walk into the city. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The hotel was clean and the rooms were well maintained. Being able to park the car on site was very convenient and the rates were very reasonable in comparison to parking in the city.
Location was perfect. Stunning hotel. Peaceful and attentive staff

Fantastic hotel staff very friendly will definitely book again 😀
Very friendly personel. We got a lot of good tips where to go and what to see. Thank you for our lovely stay
Everything from the decor to staff was just excellent. The staff couldnt be more helpful and accomodating. The room was perfect for the 3 of us with great decor and super comfortable beds. Everything was lovely and clean. I just wish we were staying longer as we didnt get chance to try the food as there were so many other places in york we also wanted to try. Also the location was superb being a 5 min flat walk to the centre of York. I cant reccomend this place enough. I would stay again in a heartbeat.
