location was great, staff super helpful and friendly hotel looks amazing rooms are great we stayed in the four poster room "the admiral" room was great bed comfortable and clean room was good size. the grounds and bar area, reception all look great .
Bedroom was lovely styled and very comfortable (the mattress was superb), bathroom very nice and new. The hotel was in a great location very easy in between town centre and train station and has a lovely garden with fairy lights. Shoutout to Ian at reception for his great tips and lovely chat!

Charming location, nicely central with parking. A lovely hotel with great accommodation and very lovely professional staff, who seemed to get on nicely as a team. Spotless and attractive room (even the cheaper end double) with great facilities, lovely products, comfy bed, great bedding and fabulous shower (and a very powerful hairdryer!). Shame to have to leave so early.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel is excellent. A short walk took us to the Minster and the heart of the city. The restaurant was incredible and we had several meals there. A very good breakfast as well. The hotel was very clean and well maintained.

Everything from the decor to staff was just excellent. The staff couldnt be more helpful and accomodating. The room was perfect for the 3 of us with great decor and super comfortable beds. Everything was lovely and clean. I just wish we were staying longer as we didnt get chance to try the food as there were so many other places in york we also wanted to try. Also the location was superb being a 5 min flat walk to the centre of York. I cant reccomend this place enough. I would stay again in a heartbeat.
