Guest Reviews

Cozy room, breakfast included, location and lovely host

Merel 8.0

Location was perfect to be reached by car, and also very easy to get from the hotel to the centre. It was a good walk towards the old town with a lot of nice (second hand) stores along the way. But it was also very easy with public transport since the bus stop (several bus lines) was just before the hotel. Beforehand I was a bit worried about parking, since parking space was not guaranteed, but luckily there was enough space.

An easy walk into town with my own key to come and go as I pleased. Breakfast was welcoming and very useful on busy days. The host was adorable.

Martin 9.0

Check in / check out arrangements good. Nice room, with ensuite. Very pleasant house manager. Bus stop right outside door with good access to city centre.

Dale 9.0

No fridge.

Alexandra 8.0

The guesthouse was beautifully furnished, which was a thing for me, as I was looking for the "antique style" while I have to be able to afford it. This georgian house is super located, as all the important buslines stop in front of it. You can walk into the City Center as well and it will take you about 10 minutes. The owner is very friendly, always helping out and we had a nice chat.

Audra 8.0

The location with the bus stop steps away was a game-changer for getting around the city. I enjoyed the size of the room, comfy beds, and the included (free) breakfast. The host was very nice and accommodating too.

Shelby 8.0

In a great location right next to the bus stop. The lady running the place is so kind. Breakfast each morning was perfect. The room we stayed in was very large with plenty of space for three people’s things.

Rebecca 9.0

Great location. We love walking and it was only about 25 min to Old Town. Lovely staff. Very friendly and accommodating.

Katie 8.0

Away from the hubub of the main centre, ideal for a peaceful night's sleep. Brilliant direct bus links to Leith and Portobello (and Edinburgh zoo!) with the bus stop almost outside of the front door. A basic continental breakfast including cereal, yoghurt, fruit and toast is included each morning and is a good start to the day. The hostess is lovely and welcoming. For the price, we found Bellevue a perfect base for exploring Edinburgh.

Helen 9.0

Lovely big bedroom with a small ensuite Breakfast service was very good Excellent location with a bus stop right outside and regular buses into city center

The staff was very friendly. They also waited for us to arrive at the guest house which was very late. I enjoyed the breakfast each day and the welcoming atmosphere.
