Guest Reviews
The owner of the hotel business and the employees were very friendly and sincerely helpful people. The hotel building stands as it was in the first days when it was built. It's a little authentic. Maybe with a little renovation it can look more modern. But still, the island has an atmosphere suitable for its natural and ancient living environment. The hotel has its own garden (Palm, Olive and Needle trees). There is a beautiful pier at the end of the garden. It also offers the opportunity to spend a very nice day with the tables on it. The view from the evening sun setting is incredible. As the owner of the hotel business emphasized, the sea ground has a muddy structure. This is a situation created by natural currents. Even if you are about fifty meters away from the beach, the water level is at chest level (someone who is tall at 175 cm). The enterprise has promised to enter the next year by extending its existing pier. That's why we decided to come back here next year and repeat the good time we spent!
Çok memnun kaldık ve kesinlikle öneririm, sakin ,sessiz ve rahat.

About This Hotel
Cunda Aşiyan Otel sits in Ayvalık on Cunda Island, a setting that combines coastal charm with easy access to local culture. The hotel is listed with Mithat Paşa Mahallesi 15 Eylül Caddesi no:83 Alibeyadası/Cunda Ayvalık, placing it in a quiet corner of this historic archipelago. The address and the surrounding area place guests close to the island’s distinctive stone lanes, waterfront vibe, and the sunlit simplicity that draws visitors to the Aegean coast. From the available images and the geographic details, the property communicates a strong sea oriented mood. Sea view photos hint at rooms and common areas that open toward the water, offering a sense of calm and a reminder of Cunda Island’s natural setting. Even without a detailed map here, it is clear that this is a place designed for guests who want to feel the breeze from the Aegean and to observe the daily life of a small island town. No explicit mention of a private pool or on site beach facilities appears in the data. The emphasis rests on the sea view impression captured in guest photos rather than resort style water features. For travelers who equate a coastal escape with salty breezes and horizon lines, the setting promises a relaxed atmosphere you can enjoy from a comfortable room or a shaded outdoor area. If a pool or sand access is important, you may wish to confirm availability directly with the property or explore nearby options in Ayvalık and on Cunda Island. While the data does not provide a room by room breakdown or renovation dates, the gallery indicates a variety of interiors designed to be welcoming and bright. Expect spaces that are well lit with soft, neutral tones and practical furniture arrangements that maximize comfort during a seaside break. The absence of explicit renovation notes means guests seeking the latest upgrades should verify current room types and decor with the hotel before booking. The emphasis here is on comfort, natural light, and views that connect guests with the sea. Specific dining options on site are not described in the available information. The property appears to focus on guest rooms and the island setting rather than a large on site restaurant operation. As with many smaller island inns, travelers may enjoy meals at nearby cafés and restaurants on Cunda Island or in Ayvalık, allowing for a taste of local flavors while returning to a tranquil base with sea views each evening. Families will find clear guidance in the policy details. Children of any age are welcome, and the maximum occupancy is five guests. There is no capacity for extra beds, and the maximum number of cots is one. This makes the hotel suitable for small families or groups traveling with a baby. WiFi is available in all areas at no extra charge, helping with quick online searches for nearby activities or travel information. On site, free private parking is available without the need for a reservation, which can simplify a coastal road trip. The policies also confirm that pets are not allowed, a point to consider for guests with allergies or those who prefer a pet free environment. Check in starts from 2 pm and can continue until midnight, while check out is between 10 am and 12 pm, offering a generous window for late plans or a relaxed morning routine. The overall approach is straightforward and guest focused, with flexibility around family needs and clear guidelines to minimize surprises. Relaxation on this island escape centers on the quiet rhythm of coastal life. The combination of sea views and a calm ambience provides a backdrop for restful evenings after day trips around Ayvalık and Cunda’s coast. The absence of extensive resort facilities is balanced by the chance to spend time in simple, uncluttered spaces where you can recharge, read a book, or enjoy a peaceful sunset. If wellness amenities are important, you may want to ask about options nearby for spa days or seaside strolls, as the hotel itself presents a low key, restorative vibe rather than a full scale wellness program. This is an ideal choice for small families, couples, or groups of up to five who value a sea oriented base with authentic island character. If you want a relaxed, uncomplicated stay on Cunda Island with easy access to Ayvalık, sea views from your room, and practical basics such as free wifi and parking, Cunda Aşiyan Otel offers a straightforward option. It suits travelers who prefer a quiet, friendly environment over large resort amenities, and who plan to spend time exploring the island’s coastline, local streets, and nearby beaches while returning to a comfortable, unfussy home base each evening.
