Hotel Bella

The hotel fully met the expectations. The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming and very professional, everyone spoke excellent English, except the kitchen ladies who explained themselves anyway with a little English and a lot of kindness. The breakfast is a honest version of the Turkish breakfast, everything was fresh and well prepared. The room, especially the bathroom, was in need of maintenance, probably because it was the end of the season, but no major issues, the bed was clean and the AC (much needed, in August) worked very well. The location is superb, and the area is very quiet despite being literally seconds away from downtown *and* the Saint John Basilica. The parking is not a private lot, but there is always room along the road leading to the Castle, along the Basilica walls, just in front of the hotel door. It's on a public road, though it's a very quiet and safe area.

We were provided with a 2 bedroom apartment located nearby the hotel at check-in as the hotel had electrical issues. The apartment was well equipped and appointed. Very comfortable.

The hotel Bella was in a prime location across the street and a block away from the basilica of St. John. It was also very near to the center of town and a quiet little neighborhood. Emphasis was a short drive away.
