This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and always ask for the same room (1). It's perfect for my mum and I, so cozy especially after we've had a night out in the cold looking at the illuminations.

The property is okay and the bedroom was spacious especially the superior one
Excellent value for money. Room was clean comfortable and quiet. I had everything I needed for a weekend stay.
We had a very warm welcome when we arrived. The landlord was very helpful with helping us to find parking, which was nearby. The room was probably one of the best I have ever stayed in, in Blackpool. Very clean, well presented, dressing gowns, slippers, and of course tea and coffee. The on-suit was a great size once again, very clean, great shower and lots of little shampoos, conditioner, shower cap. Can't rate this B&B enough 12 out of 10 for the room.
Fantastic host who let us check in a little bit early so we could unpack and go and watch the air show. He is such a lovely, friendly man. The room was immaculate. The bed was one of the comfiest beds we've ever slept in. Lovely big bathroom, and the shower was amazing. They provided towels and toiletries such as soap and shampoo. Also provided tea and coffee making facilities. There were lots of plug sockets in the room, so we were able to charge our devices overnight at the same time. The hotel is in a very quiet location so we had 2 very peaceful nights sleep.
Nice little guest house great location for pleasure beach
Lovely owners, lovely breakfast served flexibly. I will be going back.

About This Hotel
Mardonia Hotel sits between the Central and South piers, just off the promenade in Blackpool. This is a traditional seaside property that embraces its old school charm while delivering practical, comfortable accommodation for visitors who want to be right in the heart of the action. The location is a key selling point, with easy access to the bustle of the promenade and to some of Blackpool’s iconic sights. Guests are just a short stroll from the Pleasure Beach and Blackpool Tower, making evenings out and days of exploration simple and enjoyable. For travelers who want to wake up and step straight onto the waterfront, this address on Crystal Road puts the coast at your doorstep and the entertainment of the town within easy reach. The hotel’s exterior and interior character reflect a classic coastal vibe, and the accommodation is described as en suite. The rooms are described as spacious, offering a practical retreat after a day by the sea. Each room includes an LCD TV and an en-suite bathroom, ensuring comfort and privacy without the need to share facilities. Given the compact size of the property, the emphasis tends to be on a tidy, efficient layout that caters to short breaks and value-focused stays. The emphasis on en suite facilities is a notable advantage for guests who want convenience and independence during their Blackpool visit. Where to relax and unwind is a straightforward choice at Mardonia. The property features a communal lounge or TV room as shown in the listing’s photos, providing a common space for guests to gather, chat, or catch up on a favorite program. This kind of shared area can be especially appealing to families and groups who want a low-key place to regroup after a day exploring the coast. While there is no mention of a pool or spa on site, the proximity to the beach and the lively promenade offers plenty of opportunities for fresh air, seaside strolls, and simple outdoor downtime along the shore. Food and beverage options are not detailed in the listing, which means travelers should check with the reception about any on-site dining or meal plans and also consider nearby options along the seafront. The absence of explicit dining details does not detract from the overall value, particularly for guests who enjoy the freedom to sample local eateries or to prepare light meals in a compact, practical space when needed. For families, Mardonia presents a friendly and accommodating policy framework. All ages are welcome, and the property accommodates up to four guests per room, making it suitable for small families or groups. Cots and extra beds are subject to availability, and there is a policy indicating that there is no capacity for extra beds. A very young child can stay for a reduced rate, with one cot available at a cost of £5 per night when cots are in use. This kind of policy detail helps families plan budgets and expectations in advance. High speed wireless connectivity is available in the rooms at no extra charge, which is a practical perk for modern travelers who need to stay connected for work or leisure. Check-in is available from 3 pm to 10 pm, while check-out runs from 7 am to 10:30 am. Knowing these times helps guests coordinate arrivals with travel plans and days on the coast without rushing. Payments are straightforward with a credit card required to secure the booking, which provides a reliable process for both guests and the property. The hotel is located in a busy part of Blackpool, which appeals to visitors who want to maximize time near the water and near the town’s famous attractions. The intimate size of the property, with 11 rooms, often translates into a personable feel and a sense of neighborhood familiarity that larger hotels can miss. This hotel is ideal for travelers who value location over extensive on-site facilities. It suits couples seeking a simple seaside stay as well as families looking for a budget-friendly base near the beach and major attractions. Guests who prefer a traditional, straightforward hotel experience with en suite rooms, a communal relaxation area, and the convenience of being steps from the promenade will find Mardonia appealing. If you want a Blackpool stay that prioritizes proximity to piers, easy access to the coast, and a practical, comfortable room rather than a wide range of resort amenities, this property fits the brief well. The overall vibe is one of uncomplicated comfort with a strong sense of place, ideal for travelers who want to immerse themselves in the classic Blackpool experience while keeping arrangements simple and costs predictable.
