The Staff were nice, and the bed was Comfortable! There is a lot of Character to admire about this hotel.

The rooms are very generous in size, comfortable beds and great facilities. The bathroom shower was huge, toiletries and towels great. The whole house was luxurious setting ti stay in.

The attached restaurant, The Bothy, had a very nice menu and the food was well prepared. The scallops were delicious. The bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent (see below). We stayed for four nights but were carrying enough luggage for two weeks, so we especially appreciated that the bed was high enough that the bags could be stored beneath.

I liked the interior of the Hotel very much. The staff was friendly as well. There are also free parking spots right outside the property which is really convenient.

Luxe rooms were good but ask for room 7 in the 3rd house - beds very comfortable - off street parking was fine and the breakfasts were okay.

Really liked the location. Nice to be away from city center and by a leafy neighborhood. Had parking, plenty of counter space in the bathroom, nice high ceilings in our room on top floor. The restaurant was nice and quite popular, so make a reservation if you think you will eat there. No other restaurants are nearby that were open. Very nice staff! Bus stop is very close.
