About This Hotel

Myrtle house sits in Blackpool centre, a welcoming base for holidays that begin the moment you step outside. This compact property places you in the heart of a lively town while keeping you within easy reach of coastal sights and theatres. The street address, 25 Albert Road, puts you just a short stroll from the coast and the buzz of central Blackpool. It is the kind of stay that suits travellers who want convenience without sacrificing character, a sensible balance for a short break or an extended visit. Within a short walk you can reach the sea as well as one of Blackpool’s best known venues. Myrtle house is less than 1 km from Blackpool Central Beach, about a 16 minute stroll to Blackpool North Beach, and only 400 metres from the Blackpool Winter Gardens Theatre. After a day spent exploring the coastline or catching a performance, you can slide back to your base quickly for a relaxed evening in a comfortable setting and with time left for a promenade stroll. With nine rooms, Myrtle house is a characterful small hotel that feels personal and approachable. The property is designed to provide comfortable accommodation in a location that makes it easy to combine beach time with shows and shopping. The clear focus here is convenience and value, rather than grand luxury, which appeals to travellers who want a straightforward base from which to explore Blackpool. The compact scale means attentive service and a friendly vibe you often feel in smaller properties, where staff know the neighbourhood and can offer practical tips for a good day out. Rooms are designed to be cosy and practical. While the listing does not detail specific renovations, the collection of room photos suggests a range of comfortable beds and tidy spaces that invite a restful night after days on the promenade. Expect practical furnishings, clean bathrooms, and a simple, homey atmosphere that helps you unwind after a busy day by the sea. Each room is arranged to maximise comfort within a compact footprint, making it easy to settle in for a short stay or a longer city break without unnecessary forms of fuss. Dining and meals are arranged with practicality in mind. The site features a dining area where guests can enjoy meals or light bites during their stay. The property also provides access to on site food and drinks options in a relaxed setting, making it easy to start the day with a hearty breakfast or to unwind with a casual dinner after a day of sightseeing. The proximity to local cafés and eateries further enhances your ability to plan flexible meals around your schedule, so you can curate your own Blackpool experience without being tied to a strict hotel timetable. Myrtle house is set up with families in mind. Children are welcome and the property states there is no age restriction for check in. There is a maximum occupancy of four guests, and the policy outlines how cots and extra beds are handled. For families staying with children 17 and under, some options apply for additional charges when using existing beds. There is no capacity for cots or extra beds, but up to three children aged 17 and under may stay in existing beds at a charge of £30 per child per night. This makes the property a practical choice for small groups and families who value location and affordability alongside straightforward, comfortable rooms. Internet access is reliable and free. WiFi is available in all areas at no extra charge, so you can stay connected whether you are planning days on the beach, evenings at the theatre, or a quick piece of work during a city break. Pets are not allowed, which keeps the property quiet and predictable for guests who prefer a simple, no-fuss stay. Check-in times are flexible within the opening window. Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, while check-out takes place from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. These times offer a convenient balance for travellers arriving after a day of sightseeing or those returning late from a night out. If you are planning an early start or a late return, Myrtle house can help you plan accordingly with advance notice. The location is a standout feature for many guests. Being in Blackpool centre means you are never far from the action. The quick stroll to the beach, the short walk to the theatre, and the ease of accessing shops and transport links create a sense of freedom that modern travel often seeks. For couples seeking a romantic weekend by the sea, families looking for a friendly, easy going base, or friends exploring the city together, Myrtle house offers a practical home base with all the essentials close at hand. In summary, Myrtle house provides a straightforward, well located stay in Blackpool that combines convenient access to the coast and cultural venues with a simple, comfortable room set and friendly service. If you want a compact, value oriented base from which to explore a classic seaside town, this hotel is well worth considering. Its nine rooms, central position and policies designed with families in mind place it in a strong position for a variety of break types, from weekend escapes to longer stays that focus on enjoying the town rather than chasing luxury amenities.
