The hosts were very friendly on arrival and pleasant when they greeted us. Also when we went out or came back they always greted us with a warm welcome. We enjoyed it that much that we stayed an extra night. We are also booked to stay here again in August. It will be a pleasure to come back here. We will definitely recommend this place to friends or anyone else who we speak to. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners. Olivers was excellent and so we're the owners.

About This Hotel

Nestled in Blackpool’s North Shore, Olivers offers a calm escape for adults who want a quiet base by the sea without the crowds. The property sits in a peaceful residential area and centers around a tranquil garden terrace where guests can start the day with a breath of fresh air and unwind after a day of exploring. Free WiFi is available throughout and the house is strictly non smoking, ensuring a clean, relaxed atmosphere from arrival to departure. The setting is intimate and low key, supported by eight warmly kept rooms. The building welcomes adults 35 and over, reflecting a calm, adult oriented vibe. The policies note that the maximum occupancy per room is two and there is no capacity for cots or extra beds. Children are not allowed, which helps maintain a peaceful environment ideal for couples and friends seeking a quiet break. On arrival, guests are greeted with tea and coffee, a small gesture that signals attention to comfort. Inside the rooms the emphasis is on comfort and straightforward practicality. While specific renovation details are not listed, guests typically find clean decor and a restful layout that supports a good night’s sleep. The eight rooms are designed to feel cozy rather than ostentatious, with a focus on putting restful space first. Each room supports up to two guests, making Olivers a good option for couples or two friends traveling together. And because the property is non smoking, guests can expect a fresh, hassle free stay. Food and beverage options are simple and reliable. The listing highlights English and Irish breakfast options, which can set a convivial tone for the day ahead. Guests also enjoy tea and coffee on arrival, a thoughtful touch that helps easing into mornings. The on site lounge and dining areas enable easy social moments, whether you are catching up with a fellow traveler in the communal space or planning a light meal after a day out. The presence of a restaurant activity tag in the photo collection hints at nearby places to eat in the area, providing variety for guests who want to explore local options. For families, Olivers is not the typical destination. The property explicitly restricts children and does not provide cots or extra beds, making it a better fit for adults seeking a quiet retreat rather than a family holiday. Instead, it offers a serene environment that is especially suited to couples, solo travelers seeking companionship with others, or friends who value privacy and a simple, uncluttered setting. Relaxation and entertainment are built around the garden and lounge spaces. A quiet garden terrace offers a place to breathe and reflect, while the communal lounge with TV provides light entertainment and a social hub for guests to connect. While Olivers does not showcase on site pools or spas, the emphasis on calm and comfortable living creates a restorative feel that suits weekend escapes, short getaways, or a focused break outside standard city hotels. The property also notes WiFi access across all areas, a useful feature for guests who need to stay connected while on vacation or away on business. The hotel’s location in a peaceful North Shore neighborhood adds to its appeal. It is an easy base for guests who want to balance sightseeing with downtime, and its proximity to local landmarks and natural surroundings is suggested by the imagery in the gallery. The small size of the property, the personal service offered by a dedicated team, and the consistently high ratings for staff and value make Olivers a strong choice for those who prioritise atmosphere, simplicity, and a friendly, human touch. This hotel is ideal for guests who prize quiet, intimate spaces over big luxury hotels. If you are over 35, value a straightforward, respectful approach to lodging, and want a place with a garden retreat and simple dining options, Olivers is a welcoming option. It suits couples looking for a peaceful break, or two friends who want a discreet base from which to explore Blackpool’s North Shore while enjoying closer, more personal service. Check in is from 10:00 to 20:00 and check out is 09:30 to 10:00, with 35 plus age requirement and no children restrictions reinforcing the calm, adult friendly atmosphere. Free public parking nearby adds to the convenience for travelers arriving by car.
