Location is always good same as breakfast
Very generous room size (we were in the townhouse across the street), very clean, lots of available parking, hot water and heating faultless, 600m to high street and castle. Pretty good meals at the restaurant.

Check in is available from 3 pm to 11 pm, and check out is generally until 11 am, with the hotel’s doors closing to new arrivals after the late check-in window. The property is modest in size, with 23 rooms that contribute to a personal, friendly atmosphere in a city that often feels large and sprawling. The intimate scale means a warmer, more attentive service experience that many travelers value when they are visiting a historic destination. The guest rooms reflect the hotel’s practical, welcoming approach. Photographs show a range of bedrooms and bathrooms, underscoring a focus on comfort and everyday usability. While the listing does not detail a recent renovation, the images suggest clean, well maintained spaces where travelers can expect a restful night after a day spent exploring. Bedding appears to be a priority in the visual presentation, which is a signal to guests that a good night’s sleep is at the heart of the stay. Bathrooms, shown in multiple photos, look tidy and convenient, contributing to the overall ease of daily routines when away from home. Redcliffe Hotel is a thoughtful choice for families and for travelers with children. The property welcomes children of all ages, and there are clear policies regarding cots and extra beds. Depending on the option you book, there are benefits such as free accommodation for younger children when using available cots or existing beds. The maximum occupancy per room is four, and there are guidelines about additional beds and charges for older children or adults. These policies are designed to offer practical flexibility for family stays, while still preserving space and comfort for all guests. It is worth noting that the house rules specify that pets are not allowed, helping guests plan accordingly if they are traveling with four legged companions. For those seeking relaxation and gentle recreation, the surrounding area provides a pleasant balance of urban energy and natural calm. The proximity to Inverness Castle and the river creates a backdrop that invites strolls, casual sightseeing, and a sense of place that helps lasting memories form. The garden itself offers a private, quiet enclave within the city where guests can pause between activities, reflect on the day, and prepare for an evening in the town or a restful night’s sleep.
