Breakfast was delicious, very good choice on the breakfast menu. Location was very good, 5 minutes walk into town, also a few doors away from the H&A club. Amanda and Kieth were lovely hosts, always had time for a chat and was very friendly, we would definately recommend Shirley Heights as a place to stay in Blackpool.

Friendly welcome and hosting during our stay along with the exceptional breakfasts. Located in central Blackpool it was easy to walk to the main attractions and parking close to the accommodation. Fourth visit to Shirley Heights and I can recommend that you will have a great value for money stay.

Close to all the local amenities and what we had planned for the weekend. Didn’t have a car park but the nearest one is a 2 minute walk away

Hosts were really friendly and great with the kids and accommodating, nothing too much trouble! Happy to help with what was on in the area to cater to adults and children (aged 6 and 8). Helped with luggage both arriving and leaving - even carrying some from / to the car ! Breakfast was brilliant with a choice of continental and fresh cooked breakfast, again, asking if we required anything else. Fresh tea, orange juice, milk. Tea. Coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits in the room and replenished! Needed more milk and was not a problem! We would definitely stay again! The only issue, was one of the mattresses wasn't great, but this is being dealt with - and they were open about how many mattresses they replace ! Only kept this one as guests have said they like the firmer bed - but was very flat! Great place, very happy guests 😀

Gemma 10.0

Fabulous location, less than 5 minutes away from Coral Island. Room was spacious, warm and clean. Bed was very comfortable and made everyday along with fresh towels left on the bed. Derek was a smashing host! Very attentive and couldn't help you enough. Let us use the iron to iron our wedding guest outfits. Extra pillows provided for my partner with no trouble. Derek even went above and beyond to get me a dairy alternative milk so that I could enjoy a nice up of tea, which was needed after the rain! Absolute superstar! Breakfast was lovely and was able to choose what we wanted so there wasn't any waste Would definitely recommend and will look to return

We were greeted by Derek on arrival our rooms were ready, we enjoyed a nice cup of coffee after our journey, before heading up to our rooms which were both small doubles , this is a great hotel with Great hosts , great location they deserve everyone to know who they are. Sadly our trip was cut short due to the news of our Dogs passing so we left a day earlier than planned Both Amanda and Derek were comforting to us all. Thank you and we hopefully will come stay again next year x
