Location
Always love it at this hostel
Well you can’t argue with the location, essentially basing yourself among the ruins of Whitby Abbey. The food was good, the staff were friendly and helpful
Staff were great, evening meal great, breakfast great. Overhaul a great stay in everyday.
Fantastic location and DIY kitchen
This is our second visit here, the food in the cafe was lovely same as last time. John on the reception was absolutely amazing and couldn't be more helpful. Thank you again John
Stunning location. Good self-catering facilities, nice common areas, shared rooms spacious and well-maintained. Great choice for a budget-friendly stay. Just be aware that walking into town means braving a lot of stairs!
Lovely view, spacious room, very helpful staff, parking
The location and building is fantastic right up next the whitby Abbey. Lovely clean tidy and well looked after hostel.
Everything
We were amazed at the hotel. We weren't aware that we had booked such a historic house in an amazing location.
Kind staff, good location~on the top of cliff besides Abby and church after your climbing of 99 steps, also cemetery of course, you’d better not return too late at night. But you have chance to have perfect views of this lovely seaside town, more grand views of surrounding areas. Most importantly maybe you can meet a fossil-hunter just like me and happened had just read a book named “ Remarkable Creatures “”.
Location is amazing.
