Great place for a cheap night's stay. Very basic but that's what you pay for. Clean bedroom was right next to a clean toilet so even though it wasn't ensuite it didn't matter. We paid a little extra for continental breakfast which was good value. Perfect for a stop over to visit my daughter at uni.

A vibrant backpackers' hostel about 20 minutes from central York, with lots of families and a great personality. Clean bed, though no privacy, unlike some places. Equipped with a bar, restaurant and attentive staff.
