London Christmas Lights Bus Tour: 90-Minute Evening Ride on a Big Bus

In London for the festive season and want to see the city at its most magical? This London Christmas lights bus tour puts you on the top deck of a festively decorated open-top Big Bus to take in the sparkling lights.

The route

On the 90-minute panoramic tour you travel through the world-famous festive displays of Oxford Street, Regent Street and Piccadilly. Along the way you see landmarks including the London Eye, Westminster Abbey and the magnificent Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square. With festive music and a joyful atmosphere, it is a lovely evening for couples, families and anyone in a festive mood.

Departure points and times

Tours depart from London Eye (Stop 12), Green Park (Stop 1) and Marble Arch (Stop 4); you choose your departure point when booking. London Eye and Green Park departures include a live English-speaking guide, while Marble Arch departures have recorded English commentary instead. Departures run from London Eye on the hour and half hour from 16:00 to 21:30, from Marble Arch at 20 and 50 minutes past the hour from 15:50 to 20:50, and from Green Park at 10 and 40 minutes past the hour from 16:10 to 21:10.

Dates and child tickets

The tour runs on specific dates between 12 November and 30 December, excluding 25 and 31 December. Child tickets are for ages 4 to 15, and children aged 3 and under travel free. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

How booking works

Choose your date and number of guests and send your request; at this stage we only place a hold on your card. We check availability with the operator, email you when we confirm and take the payment at that point. If the request cannot be fulfilled, we email you and your card is not charged.
