Guest Reviews
Hotel was cosy and had an independent boutique feel which we loved. Great location near Kings Cross station so very walkable to the west end.
Room
Great location,beautiful property.
The sunken bath tub and location
Almost everything! The room, the staff, the location were all brilliant. Will stay again.
Well managed hotel. Very close to St Pancras / King’s Cross station but in a quiet area opposite a park. Decor is different but cosy and comfortable. Staff very helpful. We would definitely stay again.
Quirky rooms and reception
The location was brilliant, 15 mins from Euston. Five minutes to St Pancras, loads of shops and eateries to choose from. Decor of the hotel was different and refreshing albeit everywhere a little dark
If you need to make an early start to catch an early Eurostar train from St Pancras, The Gyle is a tremendous option, as it's only about 5 minutes walk to the station entrance, even lugging heavy bags. Although the decor inside is overtly stylish and funky, our room was very practical too with good storage and excellent lighting. On the north side of St Pancras there's a terrific urban development alongside the canal basin, bursting with bars and restaurants and retail outlets. Our top tip for eating or drinking is The Coal Office on Bagley Walk, and Harry's (alongside Kings Cross) is a great place for breakfast if you've skipped breakfast at The Gyle.
Very close to Kings Cross St Pancras, small boutique feel with a nicely furnished room and the sunken bath was a nice touch
Clean and comfortable- great location- very cute
The Gold Member in me dug its toes in at the threshold on arriving at The Gyle. Not my usual sort of stay and not what I was expecting...BUT the staff were really friendly and helpful, the room very clean and the bed super comfortable. Breakfast was continental style only, but there are many places close by where a full breakfast could be found. Fluffy robes and slippers, still and sparkling water, tea/coffee/hot chocolate and snacks were provided in the room free of charge. Good qualify wifi throughout. Was an easy walk from King Cross station with two suitcases.
Fun little boutique hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly. The bed was very comfy. The room is clean. The location is great. I would stay here again!
Location clean comfortable
The design is quite interesting and modern, albeit a little dark. Room is on the smaller size and comfortable. Bathroom separation is quite unique design, nice toiletry products.
What a great location/ near St Pancras and Kings Cross. The walk outside had a casual feel with all the trees nearby. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and focused on customer service!
Staff and location
Very cute, good area. Convenient to train. Loved the colors and decor. The under bed storage is a great idea. But room could be a tab bigger.
