Beautiful rooms, everything was squeaky clean, absolutely lovely staff.

We arrived later then the check in time and we where still able to get our key and to our room very easily , the cleaning staff and others where all very nice and helpful. The beds were massive and comfy as, it was hot weather and very hot in there but they provided you with a top quality fan. They have everything you need if you have forgotten it , good smelling shower gel and shampoo , etc . The shower was brilliant too. Just all round good and very nice stay. Would definitely stay again !

The room was beautiful, super spacious and very clean! We were greeted by Ella , who was lovely and welcoming. We left a pair of straighteners in our room and Ella contacted us right away, and helped us by packaging our item so we could arrange a courier collection.

10/10 doesn’t seem good enough for this absolute gem! Everything about our stay was really special, and I can’t wait to come back! We booked this room as we were attending a concert in Alexandra Palace. This property was quite close (about 2miles), and it also seemed the best place in the area (the standard of other properties close by didn’t seem too great). Upon arrival to The Brownswood we were greeted by the sweetest employee, who took her time to thoroughly show us around the property, the key operating system and the breakfast room in preparation for the next day. She then showed us to our room, and What a room it was! It was spotlessly clean with everything we might need for our stay, including toiletries, a well stocked tea tray, lovely fluffy towels, and the reason I booked the room… a huge bath at the end of the bed! We went off to the concert and returned back to the pub about 11.30pm, the pub was still open but the kitchen had closed so we asked the landlord if we could please order food, he was more than happy to allow this, and provided us with plates and cutlery to use. Furthermore, he asked if he could get us any drinks, and when I asked for a cup of tea (which they don’t usually do in the bar) he went out of his way to find me some teabags so he could make sure I got a cup of tea! I had requested a late check out, as we wanted a lazy morning the next day, and I was delighted to be given an extra hour in the room. So the next morning, after a full nights sleep in the most comfy bed, we decided to go down to the breakfast room and ask if we could take a few bits up to the room. The lady could not have been more helpful, she promptly got a tray and plates with cutlery, so we could have our leisurely, lazy breakfast upstairs. The breakfast layout, and the food that was had was lovely, all fresh and clearly good quality.

Great location for Finsbury Park, lovely pub and staff. We ate downstairs and had drinks in the beer garden during our stay. Beds were comfy and lovely quiet breakfast area.

The room my friend and I had was really spacious and was a lovely room, comfortable beds and bathroom excellent. Staff were warm and friendly and proved a great spot for a weekend away.

Close to the tube line and lots of green spaces

The vibe of the pub and the accommodation being slightly tucked away. How secure everywhere felt. The room was cute and very cosy. Lovely touches with Rituals soap and shampoo.

What a lovely place! Great location, lovely staff, beer & food too! Rooms were so tidy & clean. The breakfast in the morning was lovely too. I’ll deffo be returning here as good value for money!
