Luwian Stone House

The Luwian Stone House is a family business. It’s very easy to get in touch with the owners, and more than the facilities, they really go beyond in making you fell at home. First, they help us with the booking of airport transfer, ballon flight and tours. We arrived at night and we had some fruit from their backyard and tea for us. Got us gluten free bread so we could have it at breakfast, and also some other things that we needed. All spaces were according to the pictures, with the sunny breakfast room on the top of the building, where we could find a diversified breakfast homemade! It’s in the city center, but at the same time it’s in a quiet street. Thank you very much Yusuf, Mustafa & their mother!

Luwian Stone House is a lovely family run hotel. The owners are brothers, Yusuf & Mustafa, along with their mother. Our room was very large and comfortable and had a little sitting area. Breakfast was fantastic, the meze was made from their own home grown produce. Breakfast was served on the roof terrace where, if you get up early enough, you can also see all the balloons flying over Goreme. The location was great with easy access to the busy main street, yet set back enough so it was very quiet at night. Yusuf was a great help in recommending a hot air balloon company and organising our day tours. We had a wonderful stay.

Yusuf & Mustafa looked after us well. They gave us a list of things to see & how much you could do each day. They found us a balloon flight when ours was cancelled & we could not find another one. They gave great recommendations for restaurants. They really looked after us well. Everyone working there is friendly. The location is easy to walk around Göreme and to the Open Air Museum. It is a quiet area even though it is close to town. The room is a large lovely stone room with Turkish decorations. Breakfast was great - there was a good variety of food & a new dish added each day. The cheese borek were the best I've ever had. Good variety of fruit & salads. Lovely fresh bread. And you eat on the rooftop terrace - inside or outside. If you want to watch the hot air balloons, you can see them from the rooftop terrace. The parking was just outside. I would stay here again.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They were super helpful and gave us lots of great recommendations on what to visit and where to eat. We even got recommendations on where to go for dinner in Kayseri after our stay in Göreme. The breakfast is good and on the hotel terrace so you can enjoy the view over Göreme. The location is also good, everything in Göreme is in walking distance. The hotel provided slippers, which was nice since the stone floor was quite cold.

A great family run place to stay in Goreme. We found the communication prior and during our stay excellent from Yusuf and Mustafa. The breakfast is really good with lots of variety including some home cooking from their Mum. We opted for a room with a balcony which was spacious and comfy. We really enjoyed our stay here and felt it was really good value for Goreme.

Luwian Stone House was so cute and comfy! The rooms were super spacious and well kept, and the family running the place were extremely lovely. With the family running the venue, it had a very homely feel to it which really added to my experience in Cappadocia. Yusuf was such a gem helping me sort out a couple of tours! Breakfast on the terrace was such a delight with the older woman often bringing me a Turkish omelet without asking, and you get a good view of the hot air balloons in the mornings! It’s also only a short distance from the viewing point and the city centre!

Mustafa, Yusuf and the rest of the family are the best hosts you can dream of in Kapadokya! So thoughtful and helpful without ever being invasive. They love their region and want to share all the top tips and help you organise. They could have a tour agency! The place is ideally located, in the center of it all and yet super peaceful and stunning!

The room was very elegant and spacious. The bed and pillows were super comfortable with good quality linen. My favourite part was the lovely little courtyard - It was such a serene and tranquil space. Breakfast was very generous with a big variety to choose from and is served on the rooftop terrace. Yusuf, our host was absolutely super. He communicated with me beforehand about tours and balloon trips. Unfortunately, the balloons were canceled due to bad weather, but Yusuf booked a tour for us. Luwian Stone house is in an excellent location within close proximity to fairy chimneys (right next to a few) and restaurants. But removed from all the noise. It was very peaceful. I highly recommend this hotel.

The room was very clean, bright, and similar to the photos. Great location, quiet and very close to restaurants and shops. The breakfast buffet was homemade and very delicious. Everyone was very nice and everything went smoothly. Our hot air balloon ride was cancelled due to weather, and Yusuf helped us rebook a different one at a reasonable price. Thank you for a great stay!

The owner was very nice and the room was spacious and comfortable. We initially booked an economy room but they upgraded us to a better room without extra charge. The water temperature and pressure was excellent and the breakfast was buffet style. The bed was also very comfortable. The room has everything we needed, fridge, kettle and coffee and tea available.
