Cappadocia Horse Riding Tour in the Valleys

Cappadocia has been called the "land of beautiful horses" since ancient times, and riding is one of the most natural ways to explore its valleys. This Cappadocia horse riding tour takes you along trails between the fairy chimneys where no vehicle can follow.

How the ride works

After pickup from your hotel you are driven to the ranch, where you meet your horse and get a short briefing on riding and safety. Then you head out into the valleys with your English-speaking guide. The route follows quiet, scenic trails, and your guide stops at the best spots for photos so you can enjoy the landscape at your own pace.

Who is it for?

The pace is gentle, so first-time riders can join too, and the horses are trained animals that know the area well. For safety reasons, children aged 10 and under and guests weighing 100 kilos or more cannot take part, and the ride is not recommended for pregnant travellers.

Pickup and timing

You are usually collected about 45 minutes before the tour starts; the exact time depends on how far your accommodation is from the ranch. Please give a phone number where you can be reached and be ready at the time you are given, as short delays caused by traffic or other guests can happen.

Practical tips

Wear long trousers and closed, flat shoes. In summer bring sun cream and a hat; in spring and autumn a light jacket is useful. Drinks are not included, so we suggest bringing some water with you.
