Guest Reviews
A beautiful room and a well prepared breakfast S I even met a wonderful lady who invited me to Umbria
From cocktails in the lounge bar to lunch in the dining room, this hotel is absolutely superb. The room was both beautiful and comfortable. We had breakfast served in our room. The food was excellent and the service was also. Nothing was too much trouble for the Concierge team, and we really appreciated the convenience of our chauffeured trip to our West End show. You get what you pay for in this life, and our experience at The Goring will live in our memory forever. We hope to make this an annual treat from now on.
Surprised they didn’t notice that I was a repeat customer. Had expected that from such a high class & service oriented establishment.
Intimate compared to many of the top London hotels. The staff were amazing & caring (my mum is very poorly) and helped every way they could. The restaurant/food was amazing. And we loved the sheep !!!
This hotel is extremely beautiful throughout. Staff are super friendly, efficient, welcoming and very eager to please in all departments. The service element is generally very strong at The Goring. A generous plate of fruit and bottle of house champagne was placed in my room prior to arrival as it was my birthday and this was well noted by the hotel. Room service breakfast was very efficient and prompt.
Garden
Decor location and staff. Loved pianist at cocktails. Really added something special
The Goring has a private garden, and croquet lawn. Sitting there having a drink in the afternoon sunshine was nothing short of bliss. I imagine the only other person around here who has their own garden is their neighbor King Charles!
The general ambiance of the hotel. Pleasant lounge and bar, nice restaurant and helpful and courteous staff.
A great location and lovely hotel with friendly staff. Thank you
Great location, very good staff , Relaxed , good food , comfortable, helpful.
Friendly staff and great value
Clean, friendly staff
Great staff We were given an early check in which was appreciated
British tradition
Very atentive and helpful staff nothing was too much trouble
We have stayed here before and again the stay was most enjoyable with exceptional staff and service. Dinner was excellent. Although the location is not quite as ideal for us compared to some other luxury hotels in London, in this district you can park your car for free right next to the hotel at the weekend from 13:30 on a Saturday.
Everything but especially the warm, genuine care from the staff.
The staff went out of their way to ensure my husband (who was celebrating a special birthday) had an amazing time.
Always a favourite with our family, the Goring did not disappoint. Staff exceptional and every wish carried out with attention to detail. Loved sitting by the roaring fire having drinks and snacks in such a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. Staff at breakfast were first rate and the food was absolutely delicious, would definitely recommend. Comfy bed and lovely complementary fruit in the room.
