Very clean room, comfy bed, filling breakfast and friendly host. Parking permit provided for on street parking, easy to find a space.
Loved the location. Rooms were serviced everyday. Communal area outside. Close to bus stops.
Gary was the perfect host. He made us feel so welcome, it was like staying with family 🙏 The Dolphin was immaculately clean. Our room was perfect, with everything you would need for a perfect stay. The breakfast was award winning and the location was so close to all the attractions. We will definitely be coming back x
All fabulous clean and friendly.
Great guest house in good location
Room was comfortable. Tea, coffee, biscuits and little chocolates.replenished every day. Even flannels supplied. Shampoo etc. Gary the host made a lovely breakfast which set us up for the day. Gave us tips on what was around the area. Over all a lovely few days here. Would recommend
Gary is an absolutely lovely and dedicated host. Waited for me until late in the evening when I forgot my key in the room. Thank you, again! My one bed room was spacious and was not lacking anything. If I make it back to Scarborough I'll come back right here.
Gary is the perfect host and knows everything about sights and things to do. Spotless room with daily coffee and biscuits refill. Spacious bathroom with hotel style toiletries. Full English breakfast served daily. The location is excellent, and bus stops for long and short distances are close by.
The host, Gary, welcomed us with a wealth of knowledge and information regarding Scarborough and the local area. What was happening that weekend in the outdoor arena and around the area. The property was spotless with a very comfy bed, seating area and en suite bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities which we simply could not fault. Finally, breakfast! Fantastic, cereal, juice and the beautiful full English. We were made to feel as if we had known Gary for years and we were long time friends not just guests. Highly Recommended.
Everything apart from not having a small Fridge in the room. Gary was extremely friendly & helpful, & went out of his way to help people with any questions they had about their stay. He even bought my Wife a Birthday Card when he saw Cards in our room. Would highly recommend.
Nice clean room . Gary was very helpful and polite.
The room and en suite were spacious, well appointed and tastefully decorated. The breakfasts were delicious. Gary the host was very helpful and friendly and is a mine of knowledge about Scarborough. The location was great for Peasholm Park and the North Bay and it was an easy walk also into the town.
Absolutely brilliant host, very comfy, wonderful home cooked breakfasts
Gary was very welcoming and had great knowledge of Scarborough. The room was very clean and was refreshed every day. Breakfast was lovely. Would definitely book again
Breakfast was excellent. Prompt service and good choice. No issues. The host, Gary is friendly and informative. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was well placed for local attractions, but quiet in the evenings.
Friendly, attentive and good food recommended to any one.
5 star attention to detail. Friendly environment for all guests All good5
Everything perfect all that we needed including Gary the owner who goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect too. Breakfast very nice and set you up for the day Thanks Gary you are amazing xx
It’s excellent, very friendly and helpful owner, clean rooms, great breakfast.
Had a great stay in Scarborough. Very comfortable room, good location and a great host. Gary made sure I had some vegan options for breakfast and had good recommendations for both Scarborough and other places I was going to visit (although all squirrels at Formby Nature reserve seems to have died, some other frequent visitors hadn’t spotted them in years). :-/
