Guest Reviews
This was the second time we have stopped here . Ian and Morna are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend a stay here .
Brilliant hosts excellent one on one breakfast.
Beautiful
Lovely and cosy in a great spot. Room was comfortable and clean with fabulous views over the roof tops to the sea. We had a lovely warm welcome and the breakfast was delicious on both mornings. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Would recommend this gorgeous place.
Fabulous location; only a 10/15 minute stroll along the river to the centre. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Good size room and bathroom, with plenty of storage space in the bedroom. We were easily able to access the parking.
Warm and friendly welcome, beautiful room, perfect breakfast, ideal location to explore Scarborough. Perfect for reasonably active couples.
Lovely people we were well looked after.
Wonderful guest house in a really nice location, with excellent hosts. The room (5) was comfortable and had some very nice little extras. Breakfast was quality with plenty of choices and a die for fill English as well. Parking is free and on the street, which isn’t or shouldn’t be an issue.
We arrived to a very warm welcome from Ian and we were offered a room with a sea view and a four poster bed. Arriving at Tall Storeys we managed to park very nearby and were given a two day holiday visitor parking permit. The hotel was in a great location near to the harbour and the castle so well placed for the North and South Bays. The breakfast was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ian and Morna were very friendly hosts and we would higher recommend their establishment to anyone visiting the area.
Lovely comfortable room that had fantastic sea views. Breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were very friendly, with a great location to stay .

Location Excellent, Free Parking, Breakfast Amazing, Hosts Lovely and Friendly, Fabulous Stay
A lovely home from home, with a feeling of stepping back in time. We visited in August, no problem parking outside the house. The breakfast was AMAZING, my partner said the full English was the best he had.
It was clean nicely furnished. Comfy bed. Delicious breakfast and the owners are a lovely couple
We loved the homely, friendly atmosphere 😀
We had a lovely stay in an impeccably clean, centrally positioned and comfortable house. We were made to feel most welcome and nothing was too much trouble. A delicious breakfast too. We couldn’t recommend more highly.
Stayed in a lovely sea view room with a 4 poster bed and armchairs to sit and enjoy the view. The room was lovely and clean with lots of coffee, tea etc. and a welcome book full of places to eat and sightseeing tips. Breakfast was beautiful with lots of choices including fresh fruit and yoghurt, cereals, toast and jams and a full English breakfast with a choice of how you would like your eggs cooked. The hosts were a friendly couple and a pleasure to chat too.
