Fabulous property and a good location. Short walk into York approx 20 minutes. Secure parking through locked gates. Good communication with the owners. We stayed in Platform 8, beautiful apartment had everything we needed.
The apartment was lovely. We stayed in a 2-bed/ 2-bathroom apartment. Really comfortable, nicely designed and decorated. The water pressure was good and the shower gel/ lotion supplied delicious-smelling! Neil, the owner, was very helpful and replied quickly to any questions we had, which weren't many! Can highly recommend The Railway House to stay in if you are visiting York for any reason and you like independent setups. It is a very quick walk to the station and into town and we can highly recommend the restaurants on Bishopthorpe Road - Robinsons for brunch was amazing! Only one suggestion; bring milk if you want a cuppa on arrival!

A great place to stay and only a short distance away from the city that can easily be reached by bus or walking. A luxurious feel to the rooms and we loved the fact that our 3 year old daughter had her own bedroom which was next to ours. On site parking meant that we were able to drive in and leave for the days we spent there. Great communication from the host. We would definitely come back again.

Super location and the apartment worked well for us (4 adults and a toddler). Beds super comfortable, the basic amenities were available and great to have parking.

The apartment was well designed, we felt as if we were somewhere in France. The garden was beautiful. Kitchen had all the need kitchenware. The communication with the host was very quick and efficient. Moreover, I liked the security aspect, as there was a gate on site, making it a safe zone.
