Thistle London Hyde Park Kensington Gardens

The location is fantastic — close to everything you need while still being peaceful and convenient for getting around London. The property offers great value for money, and what really stood out was the unbelievably friendly staff. Every single one of them went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We stayed here three times during October — once for three nights, once for a single night, and again later in the month for another few days — and each stay was just as good as the last. The team were incredibly accommodating, even letting us drop off our bags early so we could head out and explore the city straight away. The facilities were great: clean, quiet rooms with comfortable beds, hot showers, and all the essentials — coffee and tea making facilities included. The restaurant downstairs served a lovely breakfast, and everything was spotless and well maintained. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for more. It ticked all the boxes for a relaxing and enjoyable stay — a perfect base for a London holiday.

The hotel is in fantastic location, immediately across from Hyde Park and only a couple of streets away from the Tube and a whole host of bars and restaurants. The staff were all extremely friendly and very helpful. The room had all the facilities we needed, the shower was probably the best I’ve ever used in a hotel, very powerful. The room was very clean and the bed extremely comfy.

It was perfectly located for our concert at the Royal Albert Hall (about a 20 min walk through the park). We had a great view from the upper floors so it was very quiet. There were also plenty of cafes and restaurants in the vicinity.

The location was perfect, just opposite hyde park n near to a lot of halal restaurants and souveniers shop.

Hassan the guy at reception was extremely helpful and friendly. Always smiling and going out of his way to help. The Manager of the breakfast diner was a pain in the neck. If I didn't book into the Hotel again or recommend others would be because of him. Kind Regards

I really liked everything about the Thistle Hotel in London! The location is central and convenient, perfect for exploring the city. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the showers were always hot with great water pressure. The staff were outstanding – always helpful, friendly, and welcoming. It truly felt like a home away from home. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Location, king room was a good size and the bed was excellent. Very comfortable and clean.

Location and price

Location very pleasant with view of Kensington Gardens which across from the hotel. Wonderful for walks.
