The bathroom was huge and had a huge bathtub with modern shower head that worked very well. It didn't seem to have heating except for the towel heater so it was rather cold. A rug or carpet on the floor would have been welcome. One bedroom was large with large windows that we opened. The bedroom with twin beds was smaller but adequate. Bedding was of a high quality. Excellent soft pillows. Kitchen was functional except the flatware drawer couldn't be opened unless the oven door was open.
Fantastic family home and a great location. Had everything you could want for a home from home stay. Free parking and pleasant walk along the river into the city. Spotlessly clean too
Beautiful property in a superb location. A short walk away from anything you wish to see in York. We had everything we needed and communication with hosts was great. Hoping to come back again!!

Great location for a chilled couple of days
De woning ligt heel centraal in een rustig wijkje waar je je auto goed kwijt kan. Je bent heel snel bij de rivier waarbij je via een wandelpad snel naar het centrum kunt lopen. De woning is authentiek en van alle moderne gemakken voorzien. Hele fijne plek. De eigenaren reageren ook heel snel op vragen, wat heel fijn is. Ook hun mail met verschillende tips was erg handig.

The hosts were very responsive and passionate. The location is just by the river, which is good for a walk in the morning. And the accommodation is cozy and feel just like home. I was also amazed to see the deco as they’re lovely. It takes a bit of driving skills to park there which was no problem to me. Just the bath is a bit too high for my nan who’s not best with her legs.
Everything I needed and location.
Perfect space, facilities and location. Having the river 10 metres away was perfect for our dog, and it's a lovely walk in both directions. Also, the path was well lit for the walk home from the City at night.
