very friendly service, breakfast choice was more than I have ever seen, dinner was good! facilities available but we did not use them, our stay was to short Room with 2 separate beds like I asked, amazing collection and qty of plants and curiosa everywhere around.

This is an extraordinary site - a lovingly restored and decorated historical building. Each room has a different theme based on historical figures. Rooms are small, well appointed with art, books, unique design details. The common spaces are incredible - lush collections of art, books, pottery, old furniture. Lovely. Staff are fantastic. Rooftop garden is wonderful, bar & resto nice. Breakfast looked amazing. Linens and comforts all great, comfy beds.

Clean, comfortable and quirky. Surprised how sheilded we were from the traffic noise. Excellent position for where we needed to go.

Very friendly staff from receptionists through to housekeeping and restaurant. How often do you get served by a hotel owner in London and asked if everything is ok? We did! Great choice of freshly prepared food for breakfast. Hotel spotlessly clean. Turkish hospitality at its best. Recommended

This hotel was so beautifully decorated and absolutely spotlessly clean! The breakfast was fabulous and the staff throughout our stay were polite, courteous and very attentive. I stayed with my friend and she was overwhelmed by how beautiful the hotel was!

I loved how unique the property was. It was easy to find and comfortable.

So many cool and quirky decorations to admire. The rooftop terrace was cozy, lots of well maintained plants and ornaments. Me and my partner were there for our anniversary and the staff made sure to make our visit extra special. We stayed in the Charles Darwin room, it was decorated with him in mind, ships and artwork related to the theories of evolution. We enjoyed a Turkish bath in the wellness centre and my partner loved his deep tissue massage. I'd recommend their Long Island Iced Tea, too easy to drink! We were so happy with our stay, highly recommend it. Also very easy access to other parts of London on the DLR and buses. Can't wait to stay again in the future 🙂
