Best room of our trip. Very spacious and elegant room. It was a real luxurious location. The owner was great and greated us in person and even cooked our breakfast one day. Awesome stay!

It had an amazing old-school B&B vibe. Still run by the delightful octonogerian owner. Excellent cooked breakfast with local produce.

Beautiful old style house. When we checked in June gave us a map of York and details of how to walk into town - really useful. It was a nice walk into town. Free Parking on site was a bonus (when we left we parked in a car park nearer the centre as wanted to see more - and it cost £14 for 4 hours!!) Room was really comfy and spotless. Slept very well - it was very quiet. Shower room very modern with a nice powerful shower and lovely fluffy towels. Breakfast also really good - and the staff at breakfast were great. Genuinely dog friendly too (ours got a sausage for breakfast). All in all a fabulous place to stay! Next time we’re in York we will definitely re-book.

Lovely guesthouse … very well looked after and very clean. Old fashioned interior but that’s the charm and character that is hard to find.

The room was large and spacious. The bathroom was also big and modern. The heating worked well around the house, the staff were also accommodating. The location was a bit far from the centre, but close to a few bus lines. There's also a co-op and a garden near the hotel which is convenient. I liked that wine glasses were put in the room. There are also some chairs at the entrance on the grass which was good as well.
