Guest Reviews
Location was brilliant for walking into York. Breakfast was good. Family of three, had a room with an extra room for child. Brilliant.
Good breakfast, friendly staff.
Staff were very friendly. Myself and my daughter were made to feel comfortable. The guest house was very clean and the room we stayed in was relatively large with it's own bathroom which was spacious and even included some products such as shampoo and soap all well presented. The location is a stones throw from the university so during the day the roads are busy but inside the guest house, you couldn't tell as the noise was very minimal. A very easy 10 minute walk into the town from the guest house making it a great place to stay if planning on a lot of tourist activities in central York.
Very close to tourist areas
Friendly staff, nice good sized room, excellent location
Room very clean and tidy up to date tv, loved the bath and shower. Breakfast dining room spotless, lots of choices of cereal, and could pick anything from full English breakfast if didn’t want a big breakfast. Bedroom had plenty of storage and sockets very clean and bed was comfy.
Good access to city. Great fresh cooked breakfast.

Clean location great and parking facilities ok
Well, the best thing about the position of the place, it's only a 10 minute walking. And plus there was off road parking, which is a real bonus in York.
Lovely well kept house. Very comfortable beds and our room had a Roku TV so plenty of stuff to watch when you just want to chill after a long day. Fans were also provided, which were very appreciated. Handy for busses and town centre and the breakfast was lovely. Staff were brilliant.
Free parking and walking distance to old town.
