Everything! The staff, the room it was all perfect!

Everything, friendly hosts, lovely room, big comfy bed, lovely breakfast, everything was perfect, can’t fault it.

The property is perfectly situated just outside of York, 15 minute walk into the city centre, 5 minute walk from train station. Parking is free, and we was greeted upon arrival, the owners are both so lovely, polite and helpful in every way they could. The room itself was amazing, it was huge, bathroom had a bath and seperate shower, bed was also massive and very comfortable. The breakfast was continental, and part of the price of the room(which is very cheap in comparison to the rest of York) it was delicious, with plenty of options. We stayed in November so didn't make use of the gardens, but the view was brilliant, and I imagine in summer it would be the perfect way to spend an afternoon. Overall it is an easy 10/10, and will absolutely be staying again, next time we visit York.

Very friendly staff coupled with a comfortable stay. Room was very clean and warm (room 6) breakfast was continental but plentifull. Excellent value for money for York.

The breakfast was fantastic and the service from the host was great. the room came equiped with a good fan and kitkats in the biscuit tin was a nice touch. lovely big bath and great location for making our way into york for our activities

Perfect location for York City center. It was a 20 min walk into the city. Big bedroom , lovely big bed. Great night's sleep. Breakfast is continental, which made a lovely change, and there was lots of choice. Sarah and Andrew were very welcoming and friendly. Very accommodating , you can keep your car there after checking out if you want to go into York again. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be paying another visit.

Great staff, incredibly helpful and the room was ready at least 5 hours prior to check-in which was a big help.

The bed was the comfiest bed Iv ever slept on! Lovely room was perfect to chill out in and the patio doors were a nice touch to be able to sit outside.

Great room, great breakfast and very friendly staff

It was great to be able to park on site. The city centre was less than a mile away and the staff were excellent. The continental breakfast was absolutely amazing and we’d def like to stay there again. A credit to hospitality 👍🏻 Loved the breakfast ping pong bowls 😁 You’ll see them if you book.

Proximity to town centre. Good selection for continental breakfast. Quiet at night for sleeping. Tea and coffee making facilities in room as well as fresh milk available for use from communal lounge.
