Guest Reviews
Breakfast very good and very friendly owners
the hosts were a lovely senior couple who were extremely friendly and welcoming to us. simple bed and breakfast and a 10 min walking distance to bath city center.
This property was a real find in Bath! The owner/manager could not have been more kind and helpful in assisting us. This is truly a perfect place for your visit to beautiful, very interesting, and charming, Bath. Breakfast was made to order from a menu provided the night before. Everything about this place gives you a real feeling of true English warmth and hospitality. We could not have been more pleased. Thank you so much for everything!
Just returned from a wonderful 2 night stay at Elgin Villa. Hosts Margarita & Peter are so friendly & breakfast was lovely. The room was clean & comfortable & the location is excellent. Absolutely nothing to complain about & we will definitely stay here again in the future.
Very friendly and informative host, good breakfast, spotlessly clean room. Great location, 5 mins from the Royal Crescent and an easy walk to the centre.
Prime Location, walking distance to anything you would want to see in Bath. Convenient, secure parking on the premises, and Peter and Margarita were wonderful hosts. Royal Victoria Park is literally in the back, as well as the Royal Crescent. Breakfast was very nice too! Would stay again in a heartbeat!
Friendly helpful staff
The staff were lovely. The room was roomy and welcoming. Old world charm. Yummy breakfast!
It was very comfortable and the owners were really friendly. Breakfast was beautifully presented and good. Elgin Villa is a beautiful house in the middle of Victoria Park. This is a great location as you can walk in to the centre of Bath easily or catch a bus. You are very close to the Royal Crescent. My room was spacious with nice views over the garden and over the centre of Bath and surrounding hills. I was given a very generous supply of tea and milk plus my own jar of decaff coffee for my stay.
Owners very helpful & so accommodating. Our room was huge ,light & airy & the beds were very comfortable. Great shower & facilities . Breakfast of scrambled eggs on toast was delicious plus pastries & grapes. Great cups of tea!.
It felt like staying at a relative’s house! The room was incredibly cozy, clean, and spacious. Even though we were there during some very hot days, the hosts provided a fan that worked perfectly. The bed was comfortable, and we slept well throughout our stay. Breakfast was simple but delicious, and the hosts were absolutely lovely and always available if we needed anything.
It was a lovely welcome and a great location.
Generous sized, clean room. Ease of check-in
The location of the property was excellent for us. It is within very close proximity of the centre of Bath and also the Royal crescent. The bed was extremely comfortable . The hosts Peter and his wife are so lovely and very accommodating.
Great location for central Bath on foot. Very clean. Comfy beds. Delicious breakfast with great coffee. Very friendly & helpful owners.
Great location with parking. Host lovely. Room 1 was large with bay window. Bad linen was excellent.
The hosts peter and margarita were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, the room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was ample.
Breakfast was continental style, there was a cooked option of toast, scrambled egg on toast or porridge. There is on site parking for a few vehicles. It is well situated for walking into Bath and exploring the city. Our room was well sized with a king size bed and had a ensuite. Towels, soaps, hairdryer were also supplied along with tea, coffee and milk.
Nice owners, very easy to walk to the centre of Bath from the accommodation. Great price for two nights for 4 people. Beds were comfortable.
Breakfast was plain Location is excellent with parking costing £10/day
