Freespirit Glamping

We loved the peaceful setting and how well thought out everything was. The accommodation was clean, cosy, and full of little touches that made it feel special, like fairy lights, a wood-burning stove, and a firepit for evenings outside. The site felt really private and quiet, but still close to the town centre. It was the perfect balance of comfort and nature.

Andy the host was really helpful and friendly. The location, views and facilities were great, loved the peaceful space. This was a last minute booking due to our motorhome breaking down so we really appreciated them accommodating us at such short notice.

Well thought out family friendly facilities in an excellent location -10 minute walk into Helmsley, 20-25 minutes with tired small children in tow. Hot water showers, good equipment in the tent, beautiful location and well looked after. I would definitely recommend and be back!

Everything we needed was there for us to enjoy as a family We appreciated Andy who was very friendly and on hand almost immediately if we had a problem or needed something extra. Liked the hot showers and inside tent burners which kept us cosy at night.all equipment etc well thought out. Including the games, the torches and even hot water bottles. Nicely decorated and comfortable beds and warm bedding. The tent kept us dry even through heavy showers. Loads of room for all 4 of us.

I loved everything about this place and 100% go check it out well worth it 👍

View relaxing quiet

Great location and great amenities

The view was amazing. The owners have clearly thought about what their guests would need for a great stay.

The tent, the facilities and the extras (toys for the kids, kitchen equipment) were fantastic and really well considered... exactly what we needed.

Loved the views, the calm and the quiet. The stars were amazing too. The tents and facilities had everything we needed and were comfortable and clean. Andy and Helen were really responsive and looked after us well.

Beautiful place to stay

Disappointed that the loo and shower was not behind the tent like in website pictures. Air bed was not good for a 55 Yr old and been on floor the air in it was cold so a very cold uncomfortable 2 nights.

Lovely location 10 minute walk into Helmsley views are great the bed is comfy we used the bbq and fire pit both nights

Hosts really helpful, welcoming and friendly. Great place for kids to run about. We had booked for 3 nights but got drenched in the rain on 2nd day and there was just nowhere to heat up and hot showers too far from tent in the rain 😂🙈 We had to abandon and book into a hotel in York just to heat up.
