Location, friendly staff, cleanliness, good breakfast
the hotel was easy to locate, road side parking was ok too. room was spacious to spread everything out. breakfast view from rooftop is amazing! breakfast spread was marvelous and we really enjoyed it! the receptionist was very knowledgeable in the local tourist spots and restaurants, followed quite a few of his tips and was pleasantly surprised.
Great well equipped hotel in a central location. We loved the view of balloons from the rooftop.

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Cappadocia Hotel in Göreme. The hotel has a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were extremely kind and attentive throughout our stay. When our hot air balloon rides were repeatedly canceled due to weather, the team went above and beyond to secure new bookings for us, ensuring that we didn’t miss the experience something we really appreciated. They were also very helpful with local recommendations from must-visit attractions to restaurants with beautiful views and authentic local cuisine. A special mention to Celil and Halil, who were exceptionally friendly and supportive. They made sure we felt completely at home.
Lovely small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast on the rooftop was a highlight—we even saw hot air balloons in the morning! The location was excellent, with everything within easy walking distance, and the staff kindly helped arrange a car rental. We stayed in the suite, which was very spacious and comfortable.
Amazing hotel with a perfect location, beautiful, comfy rooms .The breakfast on the top floor with its incredible view was a wonderful way to start each day. Special thanks to Celal and Halil for their great help and advice, the kindest, most helpful staff! I’d definitely stay here again!

If you self driving rent a car, best place to stay and the staff is very helpful. Close to restaurant everything is walkable.

The male staff were outstanding (Halil, Hassan, Jalil, Berat, and the other gentleman the name I can't recall)! They were exceptionally warm, helpful and very accommodating - super stars! Teddy (the adorable hotel mascot) was an added bonus! The location was excellent too! It's not on a cliff so can be easily accessed even by elderlies. It provided an excellent vantage point of the hot air balloon take off point which was hard to beat. The sunrise/sunset point was also just minutes away (but be prepared for the uphill walk). The Open Air Museum, Swords Valley, the ATV and Horse back riding sites are also within walkable distance. There are also a lot of great restaurants and hang out cafes close by (Chef Kebab, Namaste India, Hector's Coffee, Anzak Coffee to name a few). The breakfast spread was delightful! Thank you again Hassan for making us Turkish Egg Shashookas on request! It was easily may favorite!!🥰🥰🥰 The patio, terrace lounge and swimming was an excellent spot to spend a relaxed day. I can easily spend an afternoon lounging by the pool.
Comfortable beds and spacious room. We had the room with 2 beds over 2 floors - each had a balcony. It was great to enjoy coffee in the morning and watch the balloons.
The staff were excellent and super helpful and helped with everything, also the hotel itself is wonderfully located right in the town centre to suit all your needs and it's aesthetically pleasing on the eye with a lovely little courtyard with swimming pool and an even better roof terrace to view the fairy chimneys in the town centre and of course the hot air balloons. Highly recommended ❤️
Closeness to central town. Also quiet area with a swimming pool. Staff were all very friendly and gave good advice about tours etc. the waiter was very friendly also. Even k ew how like my cup of tea perfectly.

Breakfast was good. Hassan was very courteous and remembered our names. We looked forward to his smiles and hospitality. Our room was comfortable and they upgraded us at no cost. It was decorated with baloons because it was my husband's birthday and the Hot air balloon was the most beautiful ever ...it was on our wish list. The location was amazing. We walked to the shops and was able to access the souvenirs I wanted to buy. The most exhilarating feeling was to see the hot air balloons from the hotel terrace. You could see the hundreds of them flying about. ...Jilal and Hilal and the staff was ever willing to assist with anything. Cappadocia was thr most interesting holiday I ever experienced. ...amazing history. The hotel was clean and neat and we were very happy we chose this hotel.. Thank you to the beautiful team

We stayed at the hotel for one night however due to flight timings arrived very early and left well after check out. The staff could not have been anymore accommodating. In all the hotels we have stayed (both within Türkiye and within other countries) the staff were the friendliest we have ever come across. All staff were incredibly hospitable, polite and knowledgeable and provided us with a wealth of information both prior to our stay via messages and during our stay. The hotel itself is in a perfect location and is a mix of both modern facilities and authentic Turkish features. The room was clean, comfortable and inviting, we didn’t make use of the jacuzzi bath which was a shame! The breakfast was amazing and the views from the top floors were an added bonus when enjoying breakfast. The pool area was perfect as it offered both sun and shady areas. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay on the area as it is incredibly good value for money. Thank very much once again to all staff at the Grand Cappadocia Hotel
