I liked the soothing bass, the common balcony, the breakfasts.

Nice bright space with houseplants. Good security with key and combination codes. Quiet enough, no real issues with noise during my stay here. Long storage boxes under beds were useful. Good kitchen open 24 hours to avoid inconvenience.

Friendly and easy to access. Great facilities and was quieter than expected. Lovely to have the option to have some breakfast in the morning and good sized kitchen. Amazing value and hope to stay again.

Great place to stay while partyinging in Brixton

Large communal kitchen, lounge and balcony spaces, well-appointed with utensils, entertainment and local information. Access and storage systems all very well-organised and secure. Overall, neat and clean accommodation, clearly well loved and respected by staff and guests alike.

This was my first time in a hostel, we were there for a club night so it was just easier & cheaper to stay at the venue. It was very friendly, everything was explained clearly. The facilities, kitchen, lockers, toilets etc. There's a big lounge with a balcony which is nice. It's such a handy place to stay if you're at an event there, but I'd imagine it might be a bit noisy with the music until 3am if you're sleeping. Would stay again if I was at another club night at Hootenanny, it's easy & a nice vibe. *Shout out to the lovely staff for posting my friends headphones back to him after leaving them in the dorm! my second time staying at hootananny. brilliant location for anything you may need in brixton - you are a 10 minute walk from brixton tube station and a huge sainsbury's is across the street if you need a quick snack. i stayed here over the may bank holiday for a couple of nights and it was bouncing downstairs as they must've had an event on - i still slept like a log. great kitchen facilities, comfy beds, clean showers and many toilets, lovely balcony seating area next to the common room. very friendly staff at the front desk. not to mention, the price was extremely affordable - i paid £21 a night when i stayed and i couldn't have asked for anything else really.
