I like this hotel and stayed here numerous times. Nice and clean room. Having fridge in the room and kitchen in the hotel is very convenient, kitchen has always been clean when i used it. Also this hotel has much more character and vibe than many others in the same price range. Staff is very friendly and helpful. In general really good option for the price.

It's an apartment located above a pub which has its charm, and in a good location for accessing Elephant & Castle tube stations. The pub crowd looks a bit funny at you as you walk in but it has its charm. It's located in what remains of the Heygate Estate/Aylesbury Estate so it can be a bit intimidating coming back during the night; saying that we used to live in Elephant & Castle anyways so we didn't care.

I was in London for the Usyk v Dubois fight at Wembley Stadium. As I literally dropped my bag off and went straight out, I only needed very basic accommodation. The Hour Glass Hotel suited my needs. Friendly staff, clean room; even had a kettle, coffee, milk and cereal for breakfast. Less than a minute walk from the bus stop.
