Exactly as described

Really nice, comfortable hotel with friendly staff. The standard room was a a great size for our 3 day stay, plenty of space to relax and get ready. The hood was huge and the water pressure knocks your socks off, great facilities! The quirky styling of the hotel made it feel a bit more premium than some of the other hotel chains at a similar price. Although we did get lost a few times between the dark corridors and sliding glass doors - which we found quite funny! We didn’t try the restaurant as we found a lovely little cafe across the road which did fantastic coffee and toasties! But the bar was nice for a drink. We thought the location was great, you are right between 2 tube stations and on a main bus route from Kings Cross / St Pancras. We like to walk and found that we were approx. 25mim walk from all of our favourite areas (Islington, Shoreditch, Covent Garden). Would definitely stay again.

The Decor was incredible, so unique and quirky

Behind the funky decor there is a really good hotel with all the basics done right. Quiet room, very comfortable bed, immaculately clean, good work space all the little travel necessities provided. I had a small request and the staff responded within minutes.

Amazing location in Islington, London. Beautiful hotel. Stunning architecture, service, bar and breakfast. The staff were fun, warm, and welcoming. Incredible experience. I loved it so much, I stayed a few extra days. Even though it was expensive, it was worth every penny. I left renewed and believing in the power of exceptional hospitality.

I loved the style of the hotel, the bar area and the corridors with their dark paint contrasted with bright bold colours on the Georgian style front-doors for all the rooms. Bathroom and bedroom were spacious and had everything I needed.

Style & funkiness of the decor was a nice change from 'chain' hotels. Everywhere you looked, there was another funky detail that we hadn't seen before. The rooms are spotless, comfy beds, great shower.

Quirky

Great atmosphere in the reception / breakfast area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable - very interesting décor (in a good way!). Good drinks in the bar when we got back from a show.

The decor

Warm and welcoming reception staff. Great lounge/bar area. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Quiet location with good transport links to central London, 40 minute walk to Shaftesbury Avenue. Huge comfortable bed. Slippers and robes were great. Secure parking. Fantastic funky decor throughout.

Excellent hotel: beautiful, clean, quiet with nicely decorated rooms and comfortable beds. I wish we could stay longer than one night. If we come to London again, we will definitely stay there again.

The location is excellent and the room well appointed.

The room is great, it has all the amenities you need and more. Coffee machine, milk, tea, all kinds of glasses, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner, bodylotion and even lip balm in the shower. Iron, hairdryer. Love the art details, cozy room. Gym is small but fine, I like there is a fridge with canned water & apples. Comfortable bed.

Loved the gym, and breakfast
