Great breakfast The location was perfect for a picturesque walk into the city.

The manager and staff in restaurant were very obliging, nothing too much trouble.

Kristen 9.0

Location is great, very near to the city centre while being enough away that the hotel is quiet. Had a friendly check in, found the lobby inviting with plenty of seating/cute Halloween decor. Room itself was very spacious, bed was extremely comfortable with 4 pillows. The heating/aircon worked well. Really appreciated the abundance of charging points by the bed, two USB/one plug outlet per side. Lovely to have tea/coffee in the room, the mini fridge/hair dryer/safe are also good to have. Separate toilet/shower room situation. Okay for one person but could be awkward if with someone and wanted to wash your hands, have to venture out to the sink. Breakfast had lots of choice, everything from full cooked breakfast/cold meats and cheeses/fruit/yogurt/bread/juices/coffee. Big kudos to staff, everyone I spoke to was lovely even though the hotel was very busy on Halloween night!

Spacious room, great facilities and great breakfast. All staff very friendly and eager to help often without even being asked they would step in and assist.

Good location with on site car parking and a short walk in to York. The walk up to the Millennium Bridge is also worth doing.
