Really good, highly recommend this pin and hotel
Large room, fairly newly renovated bathroom & room, large bed (2 singles together), clean linen, clean floors & bathroom, bottled water & tea & coffee in our room provided, super DOOPER friendly & helpful staff, plus bonus breakfast was gr8! The pub was perfect & we had a nice dinner there & it was close to a large park, public transport, cafes etc...
It's a convenient location with very comfortable amenities. The breakfast is well presented and the staff are welcoming.
Fantastic room with a delightful pub downstairs for breakfast in the morning
From check in and throughout the stay, the highest level of customer service and friendliness makes staying at Rose and Crown Stoke Newington a pleasure. From the historic building, well-appointed rooms, and the ground floor pub that provides a very satisfying breakfast and then opens to the public for the enjoyable food and drink options. The roof top terrace provides a nice space to enjoy if there's sun.
Location, comfort, decor
Lovely area, fantastic staff, comfortable room, amazing breakfast, easily found a free parking space, great bar area just wish we had time to try the bar menu! Nice little roof terrace. Quiet, peaceful room.
Kate was excellent, thanks
Really friendly staff, quiet room, fabulous breakfast
A large, beautifully decorated room and super comfy bed helped make our four night stay a pleasant experience the staff, especially Kate were just delightful. She greeted us and chatted each morning at breakfast and made our stay very welcoming. We will definitely be back to stay!
Lovely meeting the staff, who obviously take pride in running the pub and hotel. The pub is a classified property, full of charm and history. The rooms are accessed behind the bar, up stairs. If you need an elevator, this isn't the place for you. Our room was spacious and right next to a rooftop terrace. We never spent time there as we had a busy schedule, but it would have been delightful! the breakfast layout started at 7:30 am and was perfect for our needs. We will stay there again if/when the opportunity arrises!
We stayed in a standard room which was very clean and comfortable. The room was cosy and had everything you need for a stay! The location is great - Stoke Newington Church Street which is buzzing with great bars and restaurants. The staff at the pub were friendly and helpful too.
We stayed for three nights before and after our daughter’s wedding nearby. The staff were amazing. So helpful, kind and accommodating. We had to move rooms part way through our stay and it was seamless. The wedding party joined us on Saturday morning in the suite to get ready and it was perfect. Such an amazing room! Breakfast was plentiful and of a very high standard. Freshly baked croissants were amazing!
Very nice room with modern bathroom and good space. Very friendly staff and great breakfast options.
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were all very friendly and helped us with everything we asked for! The room was really big with AC! The breakfast area was really cute with good breakfast. Location was amazing next to clissold park and they have a very cute terrace you can access only if you are staying in the rooms
Everything was great!!
Such a great experience...visiting from Australia. Kate was warm and friendly and have never experienced such an awesome buffet breakfast...set us up for the day! Lovely touches about...fresh flowers and a welcoming note in the room. Can't recommend highly enough
The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was wonderful. We were across from a huge park with deer and several historic churches. The neighborhood felt like just that. We felt we were among locals. The food in the pub for dinner and the complimentary breakfast was also excellent. One of our favorite parts was the patio on which we could enjoy our morning coffee and overlook the city.
We had been delighted with a 1 week stay in one of Rose and Crown’s bigger rooms, and had booked another couple of nights on return from a trip to the seaside. Only 2 nights, thought we’d go for one of the lesser spec rooms. Didn’t really appreciate when we did so that we’d be going back to the usual (much smaller) size of a London hotel room. So while the host and staff, cleanliness and breakfast were all marvellous again, our experience was diminished compared to the previous stay. Our fault entirely, so when you book, go for the larger room size, it’s so worth it!
Very comfortable room in a lovely pub, with wonderful, friendly staff.
